    Gosh Cayu, I don’t know what else to call them. Broad bean is the only english word that I know for these beans. If you ever want to try them, I can give you the names of a couple different species.

    Cayu, I got the Bride in on this one— personally, I do not feel that they taste like lima’s. Nor does the Bride. We cannot say exactly what they do taste like. I feel that they have their own flavour. As I recall, regular lima beans have a bit of a mealy quality, and the baby lima’s do not. The flavour of both lima beans I also cannot describe. They taste like lima’s, but more exact I cannot be.
    Mate, you may just have to taste them for yourself. It isn’t too late to get some in the ground...or start on your windowsill. Let me know.
