Looks very nice. Rocking chairs sounds about right on that porch. I dreamed about you last night, Dooley. And about Glenda too. I was going to try and visit you. Glenda had put up signs so I would turn off at the right junction. When I neared your place I had to start walking. It was very hot and dusty, and I had to walk through a maze of high walls and tiles. This maze could have tigers hiding there from the midday heat. I was sneaking along when a small, white dog with DR in tow came in to fetch me and keep me safe from the tigers. The things people can dream!
WOW Dooley what a great looking property and so much garden space to play with. Just think - you'll have plenty of rooms now for all those bears!! I can just see you, DR and Glenda all enjoying time together sitting in your rocking chairs with Chance and Oreo an your feet. I'm so happy for you.
Wow, what a great house. Oh, yes, enclosing some of the porch for plants would be great. If one of those windows is your bedroom, having a view of those plants to look at would be very nice. Droopy, just what did you have to eat and drink just before going to bed???
Best of luck on your move...it looks like you're going to a great place. It's always fun (and a lot of work, too!) to start over with a new garden, and it looks like you have a blank slate to work with. It's a good time of year to move, so you can get settled in before the holidays. Enjoy your new home!
Toni, your enclosing idea sounds most charming. I wonder if you'll have a special bear room, dooley? You're welcome, I'm sure. Nothing unusual, I assure you. I dream about people I know quite often, especially if they have been on my mind a lot lately. The worst is to dream about colleagues, I feel like I've been working all night.
How funny Droopy.Maybe you combined the tigers we went to see while dooley and dr were here in may with their move.I haven't seen any roaming around in the neighborhood lately
Wow, what an exiting adventure! Your new place looks just wonderful, so much ground to dig in and play in!!! You'll have a whole new turf to garage sale too, lol!
Very nice big area for you to do some really great garden work with. I can see what some rich color would do for that front yard already!
How exciting and what a lovely looking house and what a massive garden! Ooo, a rocking chair on the porch watching the sun go done.......I think a holiday to Texas might be in order!
Come on EJ we would make it so much fun for you.I bet you would love Texas too.I'll even have you say ya'll and I'm fixin to go to dooleys'or just over yonder.I a very short time
Hmm, I have an aunt in San Antonio and a B.I.L somewhere near Lubbock, maybe I'll just make a road trip of it and we can all meet up there, lol! (I know it's a little ways from Essex but my in-laws from just outside London came over this year!)
Somehow I missed this when it first posted. I was just talking with Glenda and she was describing Dooley's new house. Dooley and dr will have more house and yard than they know what to do with, says Glenda. I know the three of them are getting so excited. I think it will be a wonderful arrangement for them. Strange how things work out!
