Had the follow-up visit with the Doctor to get the official news about the test results. Like the nurse told me last week, the results were totally clear. There are two newer tests he wants to run, one is on the tumor itself to see what type of Cancer it is, since there was no spreading he believes it will be a non-spreading kind and the other is a new kind of blood test. We go back in two weeks for those results but he doesn't think there will be any change in the prognosis, he said two years ago before these tests were available he would have recommended yearly blood work and no chemo and he is almost positive that will be the recommendation after the new test results come in. Have a visit with the G.I. doctor to schedule a particular test with him, then he and the surgeon will determine when things are healed enough to do the reversal surgery.
