Donna, here's a book for you... "Husband-ry 101, How to Train Your Husband to Be the Spouse You've Always Wanted Him to Be" http://www.amazon.com/Husband-ry-Husban ... ur+husband My grandmother always told me it was never too late (not that I'm married yet, but she's hoping).
We could address your concerns better if you would pick two people that we would know. One that would closely represent you and one that would closely represent DH. But you have to pick DHs representative and he yours.
My suggestion is simple and very straightforward - Introduce him to GardenStew, and we'll keep him busy for a very long time!
Oh Donna, When you come for that vacation bring along the chainsaw. I have always wanted one of my own. tell him I am tuning it for him.
Got to say since my DH has retired. Many things have gotten done. And Since I'm giving customer his key to office. I will find things to do. Even if it is volunteer. Dh going to works at Animal shelter. Very good Dog trainer.
Good Luck in your husbands retirement...I think you should be fine...get him interested in something like a hobby if he doesn't have one...my husband will retire in a little more than a year...
Donna do not stress yourself out, I am sure you will still have your freedom and enjoy your hubby's retirement with him. Just take things as they come and everything will fall into place. Just have fun.
