    The slower the better Mary as it gives researchers time to, hopefully, come up with a cure before the Parkinsons takes too tight a grip.

    Just think about Michael J. Fox. He has been living with it for about 20 years and is still going strong. Will still keep praying for your brother.

    Thanks guys. I'm in kind of a swirl of bad news right now, it seems like unbearably bad things are happening to alot of folks I know. Probably why my hair is falling out, according to the doc. Good thing I love hats!

    So sorry to hear your sad news Mary but as others have said the research into Parkinson's is coming on in leaps and bounds now so don't give up hope. My thoughts are with you.

    Got one bright note on this. He's been in a pretty bad dark place since his wife died a few years ago, just couldn't shake it. But apparently that could have been partly caused by the Parkinson's because he says he feels more positive than he can remember in a very long time.

    A positive outlook certainly helps when you are suffering from something like Parkinsons. It's good to know your brother seems to be coping well Mary.

    So sorry to hear the sad news...I hope things work out for him and his family..try not to worry too much, it can be hard on all involved.
