Seedlings advice

    thanks carolyn. Yep its the warmest full sun spot in the house.

    I've given them a few days without the lid to dry a bit and to give my annuals time to sprout. Hopefully can give them some feed end of the week.

    Also FYI, with your tomatoes: lightly brush your hand over the foliage once or twice a day at the same time lightly bending the stem slightly each direction and you will see a noticeable thickening of the stem. this makes for a much sturdier plant when you go to put it in the garden. It's a trick I learned working in a greenhouse in high school. Good luck on the peppers, also. hopefully just propping the lid will help.

    Yep been doing the brushing the stems bit. But not as often as i should since potting up

    I've been doing tomatoes for a couple years now with some success - last year, I grew a variety called "Yellow Taxi". I highly reccomend them - nice plump, good sized yellow fruit that is sweet like candy!
