Oh I have a similar experience. I once had relatives who lived over there and one summer, we went to visit. They were farmers living waaaaay out in the country. They had no running water and decided to dig a deep trench from the spring to the little house. This was a great playground for me and my cousin, racing up and down the trench (which was almost over our heads). There were lots of things to see in that trench, and one of the most interesting to me was what I found out to be cicada larvae. I was really young and did not really know what poison ivy was. I found out. I was covered from head to toe. You see, I was wearing only shorts because it was summer. Arms, legs, chest, back and face. Of course at some point I must have taken the time to shake the dew off the begonia, for that completed my integumentary irritation. As I said, I was just a little tyke but that experience is emblazoned on my memory forever. I don’t want to think about you shoving your little arm down that hole, and the the resulting proof of presence. I have a story about shoving my are in a hole as well, but there is no need to share that. p.s. nice collection of hand tools.
Ach Cayu, but I had the distinct advantage of being a little boy, my cousin was a girl and I do not recall that she had any problems. I also do not recall that she ever actually got down in the trench. We were great playmates that summer and still correspond to this day.
That's nice. I actually still have a childhood friend. We were playmates before being school age and we get together every year still. It's interesting when you know someone that long.
That is right, Cayu. She is such a unique person and outspoken about things upon occasion. We do not see each other, but we do correspond frequently and she sends me a calendar each year featuring twelve of her paintings. Lots of fond memories.
Construction tools and supplies mainly. My saws are all on wheeled carts that fold up for storage. There is a 12 inch miter saw and a 10 inch table saw in the middle. The green wheel thing is a compost sifter-spreader.
That is some good kit you have there. Sometimes I wish I had enough room to have such storage spaces. Chapeau.
