Its rust proof,..its 18 inches wide and 30 inches high and has two handles on the same side?,..i spotted it sunk in the river while i was navigating slowly,..retrived it and as you can see it houses my Hydrangea,..i discovered it is the innards of a litter bin,..holes in the bottom as well.

Lol,..or an all time low seeing it was a litter bin innards,..which i wasn't aware of until a member of the Local Authority who was repairing my roof frowned and told me what it was,..i was confused as to why have two handles only on one side and one under the other, .

I really enjoyed looking through this post ... so many great ideas.
I've planted in wheelbarrows, old boots, pots, metal tubs, old kettles, baskets etc. I'll hunt for some posts I've done about using creative containers and share them with the group.

Ha Ha Koszta,I have a wringer washer & double tubs. Only 1 thing wrong. I still use it. Yes it is true. I have always used a wringer type & see no reason to switch now.

I have painted my scrub bucket. Today I planted two deep purple osteospermums and five shades of pink calibrachoas.

My cat "had" to get into the photo, too.

I posted this basket back in March. Now it is planted and doing very well! I love the creeping charlie spilling over the sides!

    Well the container isn't unusual.
But this darn wall-mount candle holder has been aggravating me. No matter where I put it, it just seemed in the way. And there's no way I'd ever use it for candles (seemed way too close to the wall for my liking).
    So, outside it went.

I've spent the last couple of days going through junk and stuff trying to figure out what to put "in" it. Nothing unbreakable seemed to fit. Then today, there it was, just sitting there doing nothing. So then I had to find something to plant in it. So i snagged a piece of Kalanchoe marmorata.

It's along the side of my storage/work shed.

These are drainage tiles from a yard excavation. They and the old cement laundry sink are part of the terracing for our sloping yard.
