That's one beautiful looking plant and our season is ending but most of my plants are re-flowering ...such as this one which shouldn't flower till after next spring.
Swedish ivy / creeping Charlie (Plectranthus verticillata) Hoya bilobata Euphorbia milii (crown of thorns.) Begonia coccinea & wax Begonia Callisia elegans A NOID Aloe Lithops (living stones) Plectranthus argentatus
Beautiful plants mate but this one alone looks stunning how the stems go up...nice to see your plants in bloom Laly what a rich colour
Schlumbergera truncata & Kalanchoe blossfeldiana plants are forming buds. They will be the subject of pics soon!
Can't wait to see them especially when our plants have gone for the winter months but my heathers are changing for winter
Thank's Gail ? This one is about 6" across. The next one is just beginning to open. It's gonna be massive.
That's one large flower mate ...it's a joy to see them develop...i'll be down the garden centres again this year more money
It's best to buy them now if you can just in bud. They're naturally ( for us in the UK ) June/July bloomers, the ones you see now have been forced. So, if you buy them now you'll get flowers now and then if you feed them and put the pots outside around the end of May you'll find they'll flower again. If you wait to buy the bulbs you'll have to wait untill next autumn as you can only buy ready forced ones over here.
That's what I don't like about the plants they sell forcing them before their time but those red hot pokers I brought, they kept flowering till November and just tried again but the frost got at them https://www.gardenstew.com/threads/red-hot-pokers-flowering-in-january.40616/
