Captain, like all the others I am sorry for your loss. It is so hard to let one go, but you are doing the right thing for your kitty. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
It's very hard to lose a pet you've had for a long time. You will miss your cat being there for you. I'm sorry for your loss. Good thoughts will come your way. dooley
Sorry about your friend CK! He had been there for you so many times, even to the last he was saving upsetting you by going off to die. You can make a lasting reminder at Rainbow bridge. http://www.petplace.com/cats/rainbow-br ... page1.aspx
Thanks everyone for your thoughts. They really do help. I have started a thread in the pets forum as a pet memorial. I have posted several pictures of Whitey there. Others are welcome to ad to it with their departed pets also.
I am so sorry for your loss. My Tigger was 18 when we had to put her down after a stroke...they are wonderful and such great friends..((hugs)) to you. It is hard to let go.
Oh My Captain I am soo sorry.. I have gotten behind and didn't catch up till now.. I know how much you are hurting..It is harder to put a loved one down than let them go naturally.. When I had to put IZA down ( my ferret) because of an adreinal gland tumor I was devistated..I was ordered to leave work 2 days in a row (coarse it was at the prison)because I couldn't cope and that is dangerous in that type of environment.. Don't know how I am going to deal with letting Boo Boo go..since she is the oldest pet I have ever had. I thought I was gonna lose it whenPohh Bear died and he wasn't even originally my dog..I was only his Momma for 3 years.. BIG OL HUGS going to you Sir..I understand your pain...
