So what do you do in the garden when it's raining?

If I'm outside when it starts, I just keep going unless there is lightning. We've just had days of rain here... I walked around a bit earlier and the honeysuckle-that-would-eat-the-world is EVERYWHERE. It's grown a foot and is all over a LOT of plants.

(I know I'm off topic, the rain topic reminded me.)

I just putter in the garden, weeding and planting since I consider it a "fine day" if its a misty rainy day. :-D

If the rain is more steady and soaking the stay is shorter (until the dogs complain) and we head inside for warmth to sit at the computer (like now) and stare out at the rain in the street lights. There is also the runners and walkers that brave all sorts of weather out on the street and my computer station is perfect for world watching.

When a real storm comes in we stay in and listen to the wind whip around the house, and the gutters gurgle. I love the rain.

Children in this part of the world tend to find sunshine painful they see so little of it. :D
