I do not soak seeds as a norm...saved some bramble apples pips at Husbands suggestion wrapped them in damp paper towel then in the Fridge for approx. 6 weeks...Planted the four yesterday in a seed tray and there is already a little sprout on each one of the four, but because of the sudden chill here..have brought them indoors.
The in joke will be ...will we be around when they produce the Bramble Apples..just really doing it for the challenge....Our Lidl Supermarket sells the Bramble Apples, but I have not seen them anywhere else or the Trees in the Nurseries even....

We never soak seeds, but I do recall my parents soaking some seeds, especially okra. We buy Blue Lake bush bean plants. I'm learning a lot
    at the age of 85.
Dianne, your post reminded me. My mate put his carrot seed on wet paper towel
until they sprouted. Then he planted them in a large container. They're up and look good.

Thanks and yes they do, I use a propergator, but they just rot so I save seed from the old plants and that works.

While some females love shopping for shoes or dresses, I prefer perusing
the seed and plant selections. Today at Farm & Home, the cashier asked
if I found everything I wanted. I told her, "Yes, I was feasting my eyes."
I used restraint and only bought Green onion seed, yet another packet of lettuce seed, and Bell pepper seed. I know I will end up buying Bell pepper plants, but I just must try growing them from seed, AGAIN!

I just scored two kinds of bok choi/pak choi seeds. Planted them today too.

Maybe I should know what these seeds are, but I don't.

I must wait until the weather warms before planting anything more.
