Very nice Ginny. I particularly like the Echinacea & the Erythronium.

GinnyC: like others have said. Those are very beautiful and well done. I have tried colored pencils but never stuck with it long enough. I do like to do wet-on-wet oil painting. I just started to do this type of painting last year. So I am still pretty much of an amateur. But I love creating like you.

I just posted in your thread Tooty, loved your painting. Doesn't look like an amateur painted it. It's fun to get behind the brush or pencils, especially when the weather is bad and I can't get out into the garden. lol

I just finished up two more illustrations recently being I've been stuck in this house because of snow. Here they go.... purple daylily small.jpg whitetail trio small.jpg

OMG, those are stunningly gorgeous!!! These are colored pencils? I hated doing anything with colored pencils in school, I certainly couldn't get the color you do :notworthy:

I, too, am in agreement with Frank.

Did you draw your avatar? It looks like one of your pieces.

Ginny Those are stunning. I remember seeing your work on one of the Facebook art groups I belong to. Glad to see you hear as well.

    Thank you all so much.
Yes, they are all colored pencils. I have tried other mediums but both graphite and colored pencils are my favorite to work with.
Jnnwyman, my avatar is one of my pieces. Glad you noticed.
Tooty2shoes, I don't remember ever belonging to a facebook art group. I'm stumped? lol

Here are two older graphite drawings I did a long time ago. The poached pear I actually drew while attending college, that's how long ago this one was done. lol poached pear copyright.jpg wine still life small.jpg
