kosztakid: I have never grown 'kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate' but have always meant to! Maybe this year I will. Do you have a photo of one?

sNs: Yes, I can relate. I wonder if most of us avid gardeners are fickle?!

Kids Party: Thanks about the gentians. I do love them. And yes they are bottle nosed gentians. I have tried to identify them more than that but can't tell the difference between gentiana andresii and gentiana clausa. Those two look indistinguishable to me. Do you know about gentians?

Kids Party--Thank you! That website is perfect. Next summer I will able to use it to identify my gentian. Thanks.

    Erm, favorites,

I just bought a standard rose I was after for years

    'Brother Cadfial',

Looking forward to my new plant pink/red Sedum,

I found a new Geranium and bought it, 'Geranium Pink Penny'

I love the 'Big White Kiss'its a Gazania,

Rhodedendrens but have none at the moment,

'Bleeding Hearts, both pink and white are lovely. Hearts hang from branches in spring.

    I also like my palms.

I am trying a pink Peony, not had any luck with those in the past.

I like most flowers, every color, every shape...not many I don't like or don't want. Here daylily do not have to be watered that often because of the weather so that is a big plus. I think my favorite annual is Cosmos...every color, every shape...I enjoy watching the bees, etc. on them.

I like tulips and snapdragons. They come in a multitude of colors. :setc_019:
