    Drift away.. the topic is interesting... we find things and have no idea what they are... interesting to see what others have found.

    Interesting photo. I love the wheels. Wonder if there was a reason the front spokes are slightly curved vs the back ones (the ones on the RIGHT side of the picture) are straight? Pure esthetics or practical reason?

    I have no idea IL why the wheels differ. It could indeed be simply design esthetics.

    Hi Raddang. Ref your find I am definitely putting my money on Quartz - I found lots of pics of the different types and colours. Do try this and have a good look - Google "Images For The Different Types Of Quartz".
    Ref carolyns as yet still a puzzle but no doubt we will get there - possibly Google that also as above "Images For .............(your thoughts/your guess).
    It is all very interesting for sure.
