I think I have the same "sickness" as Tooty... I HAVE to have things sorted and organized. And I totally love things with compartments!
I even sorted my Halloween candy when I was a kid. Can't have the chocolate bars next to the bubble gum, now can we? :D
I do think I figured it out. I'm lazy. So... if I organize and put things in their proper place, I don't have to use time and energy looking for stuff!

You would think with seven kids in the family while growing up that I'd be more organized but I don't think I've ever been too organized. I have places for things and they sort of end up there but not in any sort of order. When we want something we know where to look, just under that next pile of stuff. LOL

Boy Dooley those offers for us to come and organize from Eileen and Carolyn sound really tempting. Right now I am up to my eyeballs in packing, sorting and helping my Mom move. By fall I may need a vacation. ;)

I may be able to go to Ohio but until they build a bridge to Scotland I can't visit Eileen. I don't fly and I don't go out of sight of the shore line if I can help it. Sorry, Eileen! I really would like to visit you and Sjoerd and Droopy and E.J. and a few others, too.

I wish I had another room for crafts and sewing. I use to quilt-not real good at it-but made things as gifts. But having extra small house. My Grandmother redid furniture -worked until she was 93
