Yesterdays high here at home was 74F. May have to search for any snow that hasn't melted away.

Top flower is called Spring Beauty, second is Yellow Trout Lily and the third is Blood root. They are all in the woods. Do ya'll want me to name the flowers when I remember the name, common of course.

No the wild flowers are not blooming yet. Will be about a month longer before they do.
some thing must have some type of bloom as we saw honey bees yesterday with pollen on their legs. It was a white color, at first I thought they had some crystalized sugar on them.

Yes please Al the common names of your flowers would be really helpful to us. :-D It's then easy to type into a search engine to get the Latin name if required.

OK I will try to do that. Problem arises with the many lilies. So many and I don't know all the names, common or other wise.

    Above Paque.

High yesterday was 66F. Peepers were singing, old adage is they sing and stop due to cold 3 times before real spring weather stays with us. Red Wing black birds I feel a truer sign of spring than the Robin are sing the songs of cold air protest this morning.

Did you make the bee plaque yourself Al? I love it - just the kind of thing I'd have in my garden if I were a beekeeper :-D

No I didn't make that sign myself. :( I don't have that kind of talent, well I think I do a cut out like that but Kare would have to do the painting.
 I can see me asking her to stop washing jars, making syrup, making candy boards, pollen patties and doing the record keeping to paint a sign. Where is the blue guy hiding under the chair in the smilies?

High I saw yesterday was 36F.

Well what a change from the peepers going on Wednesday to a cold windy day yesterday. Appears more is in store for today and the next few days.
At least we didn't wake up yesterday to snow like they did to our south.

:D Ya the guy ounder the chair for sure and the slider fellow would work well also. No Kare would not give me a black eye BUT I would get the look. You ladies know the look, your all good at it.
Thanks for the nice comments about the pictures and such.

    A beautiful SMR Carnoliona queen.
