Gorgeous poppies, but it sure can be frustrating when the seeds you grow don't turn into what you hope for. I'm sure your tower looks amazing anyway ... Petunia's are lovely too :)

Thank you! Yes, beautiful they are, but unfortunately they began to dominate the overall picture of my tiny garden because of their height. I had to remove quite a few, albeit with pain in my heart :'(

If only you could smell the petunia's, they smell absolutely gorgeous (the scent is similar to fragrant dianthus) :stew1:

Thanks to some fantastic summer weather, I managed to get these Pirouette's to flower, even though I sowed rather late. Much bigger than I thought, too!

P.S.: The tower IS under there. Somewhere..... :D

Holy Hydrangia's, Elfje---That tower turned out to be something quite spectacular. Chapeau!
The Petunia Purple Pirouette is remarkable.

I think that you have done a smashing job there in your little garden. Gosh miss, why don't you get a volkstuin. You've got talent. :)
Elfje's Got Talent....You could make a show for television.

Thank you, Sjoerd, but I'm afraid all the credit goes to the little plants themselves, they did all the hard work! I'm just kind of a "custodian", keep them fed & watered :stew1: (The lovely summer weather also helped a lot)

Yes, I'd love to have an allotment/volkstuintje, but around here you need a microscope to find anything like it. Shame, but not to worry, I have my boyfriend's garden too, which is rather large. (At the moment a bit too large, as my back is playing up again. Getting old I think that's called... ;) )

Then there's the tv-show: well, I'll let you know as soon as the contracts are signed. Monty Don at Longmeadows, watch out, here comes Gardenelf! :D
