My smart youngest daughter put an ad on Craig's List about Stormie, description, location and all.
She heard back from a woman just now who thinks they may have her.
The description sounds like a perfect match to Stormie so keep your fingers crossed.
Oldest daughter is calling her and heading over there to see if it is Stormie and should be calling me one way or the other soon....I hope.

She is HOME. It was her, the lady's son found her in the middle of the street and stopped traffic to get her into his car. Took her to the Emergency Vet Hospital to have her checked out.
They called the local rescue group and after my youngest put the ad on Craig's List someone from the rescue group saw it and contacted the other lady.

She was covered in stickers and filthy but not physically hurt. They shaved her to get rid of the stickers and had to give her two baths to get her clean. She was about 8 miles from home and in another city so without the ad in Craig's List they never would have gotten her back, the lady was already attached to her and would have kept her if the family hadn't been found...so she would have been loved and cared for in her new home at least.

They are all so thrilled to have her home. I think the rescue group is going to help them get both dogs chipped. Their neighbor repaired the gate she got out of while they were off searching for her on Sunday and the landlord doesn't know it yet but he will be paying for the last of the fence repairs to get them down now and not a little at a time.

Thanks for all the good vibes, thoughts and prayers for her return!!!

Phew what a relief for all your family Toni. They must be over the moon to have Stormie home safe and sound again. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when Stormie was returned to your daughter and her children.
    What a wonderful outcome. :-D

Yayayayayaaaa! Hooray!!! I am so happy it was Stormie and that even after that wild adventure, she is no worse for the wear. The TLC she got from her rescuers was very encouraging too. I'll bet Stormie was so happy to see her family again. Did they say how she behaved when she saw them?
