Tarantula

    It's a giant sized wasp and it attacks tarantulas and it kills them.
    It's a couple inches long and about 1/2 inch wide.

    Strikingly beautiful spider,..i have to admit i like spiders and have a few living in my walk in greenhouse,..they do a good job in there catching and disposing of flies.

    Correct me if i am wrong,..but didn't Carolyn mention a long way back that we humans swallow many spiders as we sleep with mouth open, :twisted: ;)

    Gotta agree with Phillip that is a pretty spider, however.......coming upon one unexpectedly in my house is a bigger surprise than I ever want to have. I enjoy watching the spiders in my garden and try to leave their webs alone. I had one tho that continued to build it's web right across an arbor/ walkway. I'd walk thru it not expecting it and tear part of it down and next day it was there again. One of the bushes that made up the arbor died tho so that took care of one of his anchors. Guess he/she moved to a better neighborhood.
