On second thought, it might be Beauty of Apledoorn...I just remembered I planted some of those too, along with Daydream

Say Bip--I didn't know there was a tulip named, "Beauty of Apeldoorn".
Apeldoorn is a lovely garden area here in my country. I wonder what the connection between the tulip and the gardens is.

I have featured these gardens in my postings in the past. Further, I believe that Eileen has visited also.

That tulip must be a hum-dinger.

This purple Iris has been growing here for ages. I don't know the cultivar. So not sure it can be used here.

Cheryl, looks like a Iris hollandica (Dutch Iris), what do you think?

Cheryl, does this iris grow from a clump of dense fibrous roots, a rhizome or a bulb?

Jerry, it certainly looks like it.
Carolyn, if memory serves me correct, it's a bulb. Wait.. maybe a rhizome. Heck... I'm not sure. I'll check when I get home this evening.

Today I saw wood violets blooming in the yard. Not quite open, but they were showing their full color, though.
