    We have the orange peel one too and, as Droopy said it's really pretty and catches the eye. The tubby one is rather nice too with its red stem and grey cap.

    I know this one. Not edible, but its cousin the Boletus edulis is one of my favourites. :D

    I don't know if we have Boletus edulis over here. I haven't seen it.

    I like these with rough looking tops and a different color. This one is called Hemistropharia albocranulata.

    Time to go food shopping I think Philip. ;)
    I like how the colour graduates from dark brown in the centre to a creamy shade nearest the outer edges.

    I like the color and texture of these. They are Callistosporium luteo-olivaceum. Look like the latter name,olive.

    Those really do look as though they are made of orange peel!! Such a lovely, bright colour at this time of year.
