Happy Wednesday morning. Sure felt good out this morning... low 70s and practically no humidity. Will be in the mid 90s again, but noticed that we'll be headed near the 100F mark in a few days.
The office's summer schedule was extended one more week... so looks like I get one more 4-day weekend. Nothing really planned, except I do need to do some work out in my berry area... weeds/grass in my blackberries, strawberries. And I need to clear out the old cantaloupe vines.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 10°C and dark. There is also a cool NW breeze making it feel very cold and feeling like fall. I'm not ready for fall yet!! Off to work have a great day all :)

Good Morning fellow Stewbies. We only had 1.5 inches of rain. Everything is beautifully green. We were getting pretty parched.

Today a little garden club is having their own little tour. I belong to that club so I will be touring this afternoon. There will be 3 gardens on tour and we are only allowed to spend 20 minutes at each. WOW  It takes 2 and half hours to walk through my property and see the plants. Each person who visited my gardens this Summer took the exact amount of time in it.

I wonder if anyone here reads the previous posts. :D

Happy Thursday morning. Slept in and now time to bring my aunt to town to do her shopping. I need a few things too. Then I need to take in my aluminum cans for recycling. After that... just do whatever comes my way, but must include watering in there. The fruit trees would probably love getting a good drink since it's been kinder dry here lately.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 11°C and dark. Finally a sunny day in the forecast today, but staying cool with a high of only 20°C expected. A good day to work! Lots to do at work today as there is a wedding tomorrow. THere is also lots of grass to cut at home so I shall have a busy day! I also got to watch myslef on TV yesterday, which was kind of weird. It turned out OK, another show next week and I think that one will be worse as it wasn't rehearsed at all. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning and already a hot one. Guess the nice dry air's gone. Hello humidity and "feel-like" temps around 105F. The hoses are out doing their job today. I really need to get that blackberry patch cleaned out, but first a trip to my brother's to pick up his old computer to replace this one at the house so I can return it to the office.

Good morning all. Yep, the humidity is returning along with the 100+ temps and no rain.
The list of plants NOT to replace in the gardens is growing, even some of the drought tolerant ones have reached the end of their tolerance level and are slowly disappearing. I am thinking I might just start a weed garden next year, those are doing great!!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 14°C and overcast. I got most of my grass cut yesterday, so I'm going to finish that off and then start on the underbrush on the side of the property. Not sure how far I will get before the rain starts. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all. We swore we were not going to leave the house this weekend because it is so hot, humid and miserable out there....but we had to go to the grocery store.

I got the north bed and 1/3rd of the front garden watered before the cut off time of 10 a.m. But I got everything watered out back using the hose, the rest of the front will be done after 6 tonight. All three of my Pineapple Sage plants have been having such a difficult time making through this summer, I need to find something sturdier to replace them with next Spring or make a fall plant order .... I think I like that idea!! We are bound to get some fall like temps in about November or may December.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 13°C and overcast. Yesterdays forecast of afternoon showers turned out completely wrong! It rained and blew ALL DAY! I got a lot of work done indoors and ended up BBQ'ing out in the rain. It's very dreary and cool out so I hope the weather perks up today. Have a great day everyone :)

    GOOD MORNING ALL.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, We got 1 inch of rain yesterday and this morning it is storming, lots of loud thunder and bright lightening and RAIN. Another 1.25 inches in the gauge for a total so far of 2.25 inches since about 4 this morning. It's getting lighter now and the radar shows it to be coming to an end in the not too distant future. But my plants should rebound and really perk up with the new rain and nitrogen they have received.
But 100+ temps will be back starting tomorrow and hanging around for the whole week.

Gee,Toni, you could have shared the rain. We have clouds but no rain. I had to water some things this morning, including the birds.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 12°C and dark. No rain in the forecast for me today (thankfully! We got plenty on Saturday!) but still cool. The high will only reach 20°C today (68°F) but thats fine if its sunny. Off to work ... never know what you will find after a wedding weekend. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning and back at work. No rain over the weekend, so the water hoses got a good workout. Temps up there near 100F so didn't spend too much time outdoors. But I did manage to get the mowing/trimming done. And cleaned out the old cantaloupe vines. Cleaned up around the strawberry patch, but didn't get to the blackberries. Had some whiteflies all over a couple of plants but managed to get rid of them pretty quickly with spraying for a couple of days. Hope they just didn't somewhere else!

Good afternoon all! Back from my younger brother's wedding on Saturday. It was a fantastic day and it couldn't have gone more perfect. I was groomsman and thankfully I completed all my duties well enough :) Phew. Speeches were said, tears were wept, dances were danced and new friendships were forged. Brilliant weekend!

Have a great start to your week all! :stew2:
