Happy Sunday morning. The rains finally stopped (got an additional inch on Friday). The ground is so saturated all you hear is squish squish when you walk! It was partly cloudy yesterday with temps reach 90 again.

Today, about the same expected, except there's not a cloud in the sky. I should not say this, but... "come on sun and dry up some of this water!" My pepper plants are so droopy, don't know if they will bounce back.

Absolutely too wet to try to mow, so instead, I'll be taking the plants (30 of them) I had leftover from the church plant sale to an event at the Duck Farm and see if I can sell them.

Good morning! I just made it. The clock says 11:59 am. I should go and get busy but I'm being lazy, I think. dr has already washed and hung two loads of clothes. We've been busy downsizing. We just have too much stuff for our age. Kids just shake their heads wondering what they will ever do with so much stuff if it eventually comes their way.
My brother-in-law had a pacemaker installed yesterday. There are complications and he isn't doing well at all. His granddaughter had an accident yesterday with her brand new car. Only had it two weeks and it's totaled. She escaped with abrasions and a tattoo of the insignia from her airbag on her forearm. I wonder if it will scar and stay there. She could charge them for advertising. Sun in the forecast for all week! Have a great day!

It is still raining so I guess it's more house work today too.

Happy Monday morning and back to work after a fun-filled, sunny weekend.
The ground is still saturated and the grass is loving it! Hope it dries enough for me to mow something during the week.
Some plants, especially the peppers, are still droopy from all the water. Hope they bounce back enough for the last batch of peppers to ripen.

2ofus, there are a lot of more fun things to do on a rainy day than housework

Good morning all. 95 yesterday but only upper 80's for this week. And the mornings are to be only in the 60's too so there is hope for getting some gardening done. I'll have to do it with the hose next to me so I can soften the soil to dig out weeds and get some plants in the ground.

Toni, if you could see my house, you wouldn't be saying that!
It is suppose to be nice for the next 3 days so maybe I can get the tulips planted and remove some shrubs and just soak up some vitamin D.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 8°C and dark. Lovely day yesterday, and another lovely day ahead today. Now that it fall, it feels like summer! Off to work in a few minutes. Removed 3 overgrown shrubs yesterday, and will probably do another 2 today. Also picked up a few Mums. Have a great day all :)

koszta kid, I sure hope your DH doesn't have to have surgery or at least not until Spring!

Good morning all. I love this fall weather, upper 60's first thing in the morning and mid-80's in the afternoon. Still no rain expected until early October...so Sept will end as the driest on record with less than 1/10th of an inch. And that's the official measurement at DFW airport, in my yard it ends with nothing.
