Toni, Think one of his main problem is weight. His hips holding up a lot more lately. Place he take care of their horses. Had his replaced. Said he wished he did it years ago. But he's also had knees ,shoulder and now hip.

Happy Thursday morning. I'm loving these cooler days and all this sunshine. BUT... there's a 50% chance of rain today... which I do not need. The ground is finally dry enough so I can mow. Most of my pepper plants drowned... and my 4 o'clock.
So rain, please go to Toni's! :stew2:

Good morning all. Can't believe it is almost the end of Sept. Come on Halloween :-D

Nice in the mornings and not too bad afternoons.

We have had an easterly breeze for a few days and it will hang around for several more. It's very unusual to have wind from the east for this long and the darn stuff is keeping moisture from the Gulf from reaching us so no rain as long as the east wind prevails.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 9°C and dark. It's going to be another beautiful day! Off to work shortly, and I'm sure it will feel like the longest day ever as I (finally!) get to go pick up my son for the weekend! I haven't seen him much since he went off to college ... 3 weeks since I last saw him! Can you tell I'm just a wee bit excited? Toni, when we get an east wind here, we get wet and miserable weather. Its rare here to get an east wind, but it usually means 3 days of rain and wind. Have a great day all :)

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 11°C and foggy. I slept in this morning! Hoping to find a good recipe for grape jelly this morning as I have a small pail of grapes. Out to the gardens later for a clean out of the frosted plants from last week and then top dressing with compost. I hope to be ahead of myself for the spring. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. I got the mowing, etc done yesterday. Today's chore... clean up the flower beds. All the rain drowned a few things, so they need to come out. And then there's the weeding. I've also got a bit of mulch to top off some spots.
Gotta get the yard in tip-top shape for my party tomorrow.
Oh yeah... just a little more housework to do... already shampooed the carpet, dusted, etc.
Having a party is hard work! :D

It's raining again but I'm done with my transplanting so it's helping to settle my plants in. Plus I'm ready for a break.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 10°C and sunny. Looks like its going to be another gorgeous fall day! I got part of veggie garden cleared out and top dressed with compost, as well as bulbs dug up and re-planted in the back bed. More to be done today. I've been enjoying the fall colors around the neighborhood too ... so beautiful! Have a great day all :)

Good morning all, I am canning chicken legs today. After that I will be buttoning up the gardens in preparation for Winter. That will take all week. :D

Happy Sunday morning. House is clean. Yard and flower beds are cleaned. I'm clean. Cake is baked. Time to get out the tables and chairs. Will pick up the sandwiches at noon and then ice down the adult beverages and just wait on my friends to show up this afternoon.
In the meantime, I do need to water the containers, but other than that... no work in the garden today... time to sit back and enjoy this wonderful weather.

Good Day all! Got a breezy autumn one here. Picking plums and pears like crazy, and dehydrating and canning them. Still picking toms, cukes, beans, peas, squash out of the garden in between deer raids!

Have a great day Stewbies! :D

Good Monday morning all. Currently 20°C and dark. This might be my last early morning starting work as its getting too dark to see in the morning. Most likely starting at 7am until it gets too dark again. I dislike starting later as that means the day ends later. Not sure what is in store for me today, no doubt some watering and some pruning. Have a great day all :)
