The Good Day All Thread

We got .6 inches of rain in a brief thunderstorm about 9:30 last night. It was windy and the rain was something fierce. I didn't last long though. It's sunny and breezy and cool this morning. It said it reached 95 here yesterday but with the wind it didn't feel that warm. I guess fall is here though. No more rain in forecast until next Friday and then there's a 30 percent chance.

We finally got a hard freeze last night so I'm going out to pull up the Zinnias and annual salvia and tidy up the front flowerbeds.

 

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 10°C, windy and raining. It really feels like fall today! Off to my daughters first skating Saturday of the season. SHe's skating 3 days a week this year so I'm going to be spending a lot of time at the arena! Have a great day all

 

Happy Saturday morning. 58F here too Toni. Clear blue skies and a slight breeze. Just a little too cool for me to be outside yet. But I'll be out there soon getting the mowing done. Then off to visit a cousin who's here from New Mexico and the town next to me is having a festival all weekend... will have to pop in to check it out. And they are having a plant sale tomorrow. First time they've done this... wonder where they got the idea??

 

It's 29 F (-2 C) degrees right now but is suppose to get up to 69 F today. A good temperature to work outside. I'm going to run some mulch through the chipper to make it a little finer and spread it on my flower beds.

 

good morning, hopefully everyone is feeling better than I do right now! 57 and cloudy. Supposed to rain today

 

It was only 52 degrees this morning! Now it's up to 68 degrees. It said it would be 78 so it has to be hurrying a bit if it's going to go up another 10 degrees. It's that wind that makes it feel colder.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 2°C and sunny. I did have some patchy frost this morning too. We were an hour late for skating yesterday I must remember next week to go for 9am rather then 10am! Got all my laundry washed and then most of the veggie garden cleaned out, also some grass cut after that. We also did some shopping. I hope today is as productive as yesterday was! Happy Sunday morning. Another chilly night with temps in the mid50s. Beautiful clear blue skies with temps getting up to the lower-mid 80s. But this is the last day of this gorgeous weather, we'll be back to low 90s tomorrow and rain chances coming up.
I got the mowing done yesterday. Seems to have went by quickly and didn't use as much gas. Never broke a sweat. I actually almost put on a long sleeve shirt!
Today will be spent doing a little housework, going the bazaar in the next town and then over to visit with some cousins as they watch the football game. I'll try to get over there towards the end (just to make sure I get some gumbo).

Good Monday morning all. Currently 9°C and dark. Starting work 30 minutes later because it is too dark to work outside at 6:30 now. Fall clean up continues today, I hope the forecasted rain holds off ... I have a LOT of work to do! Have a great day all
