Good Friday morning all. Currently 6°C and dark. Heading in to work early to finish off the Thanksgiving decorating before the guests are awake. I look forward to the weekend because I will have the whole family home :) We will also be having a feast. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday evening. Nice day off work. Started the day by taking my aunt to do her shopping. Got just under 1 inch of rain so no mowing today. It was a little on the warm side with temps in the low 90s. Spent the day just goofing off around the house

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 4°C and overcast. We turned the furnace on yesterday, I think that is the earliest ever! I'm off to skating with my youngest this morning, then home to get some housework done. Once that is done I'll be outside stacking the firewood that was delivered yesterday. Have a great day all :)

    Good morning all.
Like the old song says "What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours...." Yesterday was in the 90's, started out cloudless, 80% humidity a real BLAH day.
This morning it's 59 degrees, total overcast but will be clearing, wind is from the NNW and we had RAIN last night. Only 3/4ths of an inch but there might be more on Monday.

We are taking off this afternoon and will be home Monday evening. No junque shopping this time, just getting away from the daily routine in a hotel room with cable, free breakfast and Randy cooks our lunch and dinner in the microwave. I have some knitting and a couple of magazines I haven't scoured through completely....Randy will get caught up on his naps.

Happy Saturday morning. Toni, we should be getting that cool front on Monday.
It's clear & warm today. Went to a craft show this morning. Now time to see what needs done around the house

It was cool and cloudy here today and we had about 3/4 inch of rain. It started in the night and went until about 2 pm. Not a heavy rain or thunderstorms but a nice rain. Road is a muddy mess though.
It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Monday, too. Our neighbor dug a very large shallow pond and is hoping we get enough rain to make it into a duck pond. I'm not sure we need that much!

I felt lazy today so all I did was put up the outside Halloween decorations. It was more of a job than I thought so I'm still tired. Maybe I'll get a good nights sleep tonight.

Good Sunday morning everyone. We are going to have great weather for our Thanksgiving day weekend. Mondays is Thanksgiving but my turkey is in the oven today. Will be off to church this morning and then preparing our Thanksgiving meal this afternoon. Mm-mm I love the smell of turkey and dressing roasting. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 0°C and sunny. We have hit the freezing mark and so there is a heavy frost on everything outside. I hope I will have time to pull out some of the frozen annuals today, but I will also be cooking a turkey dinner today. If I go out to the garden we can forget about an edible meal! :D I managed to get all the firewood stacked yesterday, and also most of the veggie patch cleared out. I think my back could use a break today. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Overcast and a little cool this morning with temps in the upper 70s still. Chance of rain today with a cool front moving in tomorrow that's supposed to bring heavy rains.
I can't decide if I should mow. I think it could skip this weekend. But who knows, I may change my mind if it doesn't rain.
But first, gotta get some housework done...the floors are a mess (as usual with me tromping in & out with dirty feet!)

Cool here today! Sun comes and goes and it clouds up and rains and then the sun comes again. Now, it's cloudy. We had thunder a little earlier but the rain must have gone west of us because our rain didn't come with thunder. Thunder storms for tomorrow and then sunshine for a few days. We've been cleaning and sorting and trying to achieve a reasonable amount of stuff instead of having so much we can't walk in here sometimes. Now, the house is much more of a mess than when we started. Eventually is will even out though. Meanwhile the thrift shop and the museum are profiting with our castoffs.
I'm thinking of quitting for today. Tomorrow is time enough to get it done. Right!

Good morning all! Will be picking potatoes all day today. It's the last big farm job of the year. We have a harvester so it makes thing easier but it still can get tiring standing up in all day sorting out the rotten ones from the good ones.
    Have a great one all!

Good Monday morning all, and Happy Thanksgiving to any Canadian Stewbies that may be celebrating today. It is 7°C with light rain falling. I did manage to get out to the garden for a while yesterday, to pull some frosted plants and plant a few bulbs. There is much, much more to do out there yet! Taking my son back to school this afternoon :( It sure was nice to spend some time with him. I'm making some turkey soup to send back with him and so it smells delicious in here! Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. We got a little rain overnight, too dark when I left the house to see the rain gauge, but I don't think it was more than 1/4 inch by the size of the puddles.
Big storm supposed to be moving through by early afternoon bringing lots of rain and wind and cool temps. It's in the upper 70s now, but will get down into the 50s overnight.

Almost forgot.... Happy Thanksgiving to all you in Canada! :stew2:

Good evening all. Surprisingly we got 2.5 inches of rain last night/early this morning. AND the temperature has dropped almost 32 degrees since just a week ago when it was 98 deg. I am loving it!!
