Doing the last day of our garage sale today. It's the 3rd one this year. The first 2had mostly my daughters things and some stuff I didn't want anymore. This one is all things from my sisters home.

We have sold tons of stuff and made allot of money. It's nice to share stuff and get paid to boot.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 2°C and overcast. I have lost track of how many days it has been since I've seen the sunshine. Today I am off to a 'Celebration of Life' - one of DH's Aunts died last month, I have never met this side of the family. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all. Another really pretty day, slight coolish breeze. Very slim chance of rain one or two days this coming week, but 10-20% really can't be considered a slim chance more like a non-chance.

But the mornings are starting out in the 54-62 degree range so that makes for great gardening weather. And I have soooo much to catch up on.

The end of the 3 day garage sale. I am beat. We some way over $1100. worth. We had back up supplies so when the tables got empty we loaded them up again.

Planning on another one in a week or so.

Frost warnings tonight and I am too tired to cover anything. I did pick all the green tomatoes. And I will pick the beans in the morning. I don't know how the bell peppers and celery will be.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 4°C and rainy. Again. Weatherman says we MIGHT see some sunshine on Wednesday. I really need some vitamin D!! My first day home today, there is so much I want to do that I don't know where to start! Maybe I should start by writing a list. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. Yesterday was gorgeous.... the day started off cool and breezy but turned into a nice warm afternoon. I got the mowing done. Planted a few things that I got from the markdown rack. Then it was off to the neighborhood monthly gathering with food and Zydeco music.
Now it's back to work and I feel miserable. I woke up sneezing and now after taking sinus medicine I feel drowsy. Lovely way to spend the day. :(

Good afternoon all! My vacation's over and I'm traveling home just now :) Weather is slightly dull but not too bad. It will feel good to get back into a normal routine again.
Hope your Monday is finding you well!

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 9°c and raining AGAIN! I guess all my new shrubs, trees, and perennials are getting watered in very well. Off to do some shopping today, my son needs some winter clothes and I may finally pick some tiles for my bathroom! I could use some new boots too. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Another gorgeous day weatherwise.
I went home early yesterday, the ol' sinuses were giving me a fit. Slept in today, but still feeling "in the clouds". I did come into work but will leave early if I start to feel any worse.
Dang... all this gorgeous weather and I'm not getting to enjoy it.

Good morning all. I am exhausted this morning. Yesterday I drove oldest daughter to Tulsa, Oklahoma to get treatment on her knee. The parent of one of her students told her about a fantastic Doctor there who does "Dry Needling" to repair injured muscles, etc and her knee has given her problems for years, finally went really bad about two weeks ago. Her Orthopedic doctor here wanted an MRI (she is claustrophobic so that requires heavy meds for her) and probably surgery.

It was a 4+ hour drive up there and 4+ hours back but it was well worth it, she came out of the therapy feeling better than she has in years. He comes to Dallas every few months to speak to other doctors about the therapy and she will meet him at the airport for another session. Her student whose Mom recommended him, meets him at the airport when he is in town and has a session with him at the airport too.

Today I think I will skip working in the garden today and read.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently just 2°C and overcast. At least it isn't raining! Weatherman still says we will see some sunshine today, I hope we do! I have lots to do out in the garden today if the weather co-operates... bulbs to dig up and bulbs to plant, things to cut down, things to move and leaves to rake. Also 6 more Roses to tuck in for the winter. But first some coffee! Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Another beautiful day ahead with temps from upper 50s to mid80s. No rain in sight. I think I'll actually have to drag out the hoses this weekend. I haven't had to do that in over a month!
I really really need to get out to the blackberry patch and clean that up. Maybe this weekend.

Good morning all. The rain we had 11 days ago is long gone and even going back into the 90's this weekend. A slight chance of rain on Monday but one weather guy said "don't blink or you will miss it"

Good Thursday morning all! Currently 4°C and calm. Another beautiful day ahead. My oldest daughter got her final Real Estate exam results back yesterday, and passed with flying colors (91%)! This makes her an official Real Estate Agent (after a bunch of fees of course  ) I am very proud and she did this all herself. Off to do my errands and shopping today and then home to work in the garden. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. It seems darker this morning than ever before. I actually had to check the clock to make sure I didn't get up an hour early! :D
3-day weekend coming up. Since the cooler weather and lack of rain the last few weeks, the grass doesn't need mowing yet. So that's one chore off my list for the weekend.
I will be getting out the hoses though and giving everything a little drink.
