Good morning! Not too much happening here today after a busy day yesterday. Shopping seems to expand to fill the whole day even when you start with just a short list.
Cloudy here this morning but I didn't see rain in the forecast. I finally got the front and the back yards all trimmed to an acceptable level. The horses behind our house were suitably impressed with the grass we raked and threw over the fence.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 5°C and overcast. Weatherman calls for sun today and he better not let me down! I got to spend some time in the back garden late yesterday afternoon. I uncovered several mouse nests and discovered that they were feeding on all the seed heads! It's been a bad year for critters and so my gardens are getting a very extensive clean out this year. I do NOT want to harbor any mice, rats, chipmunks, or rabbits this winter! I will be getting out there shortly, but first I have to make 2 dozen muffins for skating tomorrow. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all! Weather is still a bit blustery here. I'm afraid the autumn/almost winter is definitely here now  My parents have started to move their cattle indoors for the winter. They won't be able to graze in the fields until next year but it's necessary. I recently heard that in Sweden people pay money to see cows being released back into the fields after the winter period. I understand this as it really is a joy to see!
    Have a wonderful Saturday all!

Happy Saturday morning. Yesterday was downright chilly with temps in the mid50s until around 10am, but it turned into a beautiful day. I started on the watering and only have the fruit trees to do now. Sure been a while since we had rain, but watch... now that I've watered it'll start to rain again!
Today looks like a repeat of yesterday's weather, except a tad warmer. Off to a trade/swap show then back home to finish watering. I think I'm going to force myself to pull some weeds.

Good morning all. Should hit 90 deg today and darn close to that on Sunday, miserable weather...hot and dry just like all summer.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 7°C, overcast and VERY windy! I slept in! My son goes back to school this afternoon, that is going to be hard. First he has a shift at his job, and we have some groceries to pick up. I wont get much done around the house today, but that's OK. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all! Really windy here today, whoosh~~~ Leaves are blowing everywhere. It's very easy to get a bunch in the face if you're not careful. I'll be staying inside today thank you :) Hope your Sunday weather is better!

Happy Sunday afternoon. Woke up to fog this morning and temps in the low 60s. It's supposed to be in the upper 80s today and without a cloud in the sky, I'm sure that'll happen.
Got all the watering done. Sanded down my little garden table yesterday and just finished staining it. Will apply some water seal in the next couple of days.
right now, about to head out to another trade/craft fair. The one yesterday was a total disappointment.
It was publicized as "trade days". It looked huge from the road... I got excited. Got there and it was a car show (which I LOVE classic cars) and chile cookoff. There were more food booths than anything. And only one booth that had a "craft".
So... I'll see what today's one has in store.
And then after that, since it's not far from my brother's house, I'll go over there since my sis-in-law is giving one of those "shows" where someone sells jewelry, candles etc.

It was sunny and 80' here today so I went outside. I took a trash bag and cleaned up along the driveway and then took the weed eater and cut all of the grass along both sides and down at the back. That usually takes me about 45 minutes or an hour. Now, I have the back yard, the front yard and the driveway area all done. There's still the storage yard with the big weeds. We don't much use that space so it doesn't get done too often. Roses are blooming and the zinnias are still blooming. I didn't cut them off. I have a sweet potato pie in the oven and pork chops and small sweet potatoes baking for supper. Time to go see what else I can get into now.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 0°C and clear, so everything is covered with frost. Nice day ahead so I will try to get out and finish garden clean out. The trellis on the garage wall holding the honeysuckle vine broke in the wind yesterday and so it is in a heap on the ground. Not sure how I'm going to deal with this yet. I need some coffee first! Have a great day all :)

Today I'll take the cushions off the outdoor chairs and store them for the winter and also put the wood rocking chairs in the shop. I also need to put the patio pots away. I'm surprised that my wax (fibrous) begonia's are still blooming when we've had temperatures below freezing already.

Happy Monday morning. Another warm and gorgeous day ahead with highs in the upper 80s. And dry. There's a slight chance of rain in a couple of days, but I won't hold my breath on it.
Got to work this morning... no phones, no internet, no server. The IT guy is out of the country... AND in the hospital. We worked out a solution via text. Technology... so nice when it works! :stew2:

Good morning. 88 deg the past two days, no record but about 15 degrees hotter than it should be this time of the year. Not much rain in the forecast, most of what comes through with the next cool front will stay in the clouds until they are well east and south of us...par for the course. One more day in the upper 80's then with the lower high temps starting tomorrow my time in the garden will increase and I can finally get something accomplished out there.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 8°C and overcast. Its going to be a record breaking day with highs of 18°C expected! Rain though, and so it wont be the best day for working outside. I am slowly getting the gardens cleared out, 3 left to do and there are still a few things growing in the veggie garden. May have to do some baking today. Have a great day all :)
