Good morning all. I was called to Jury Duty today, just local thankfully I don't have to drive into downtown Dallas in that mess of traffic. I had a doctors appointment yesterday, jury duty today....tomorrow I am not doing anything I don't want to do especially not before 10 a.m.

Happy Tuesday morning. A little patchy fog this morning, but otherwise going to be a clear and warm day with highs in the upper 80s. Which means I'll have to water the containers this evening when I get home. There's about a 40% chance of rain tomorrow, that would be nice!

Didn't get chosen for Jury Duty...bet it has something to do with the fact that old people tend to be more out spoken and opinionated than younger ones. ;)

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 7°C and very dark. I'm not sure why it is so DARK this morning! Must be an overcast day. A few things on my 'to do' list today, and skating at 5. These busy days sure are passing quickly!

Happy Wednesday morning. It seemed darker here too this morning. There's a slight chance of rain in the forecast, but it sure doesn't look like it, yet. Temps from upper 60s to to mid 80s.

The temp is 26 this morning but is suppose to get up to 50 later today. I plan on emptying the patio pots and putting them away for the winter and then (yuck) doing some housework.

Happy Thursday morning. The cool front passed through over night. Didn't bring a drop of rain, but we have cooler temps with less humidity. Mid 50s to lower 80s.
Good chance of rain next week... we sure could use it.

Good morning all. Seeing the end of the near 90 deg temps is a wonderful thought and we even have a chance of temps in the 40's over night this weekend. Time for the fan in the bedroom window to bring the coolness inside...wonderful sleeping.

No rain in the forecast until some time next week so we will be ending October as the 6th or 7th driest month this year. Unless they change their mind, our city water restrictions will be lifted as of Nov 1st, but with still no rain they will most likely be extended for a few more months.

Good Friday morning all. Currently just 3°C and raining. We have a special weather statement in effect for tonight with high winds and snow, which should make trick-or-treating extra special  (have I mentioned lately how much I HATE Halloween?) Cleaning and baking to do today, that should keep my mind off the weather. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning and Happy Halloween.
Nice and cool this morning and going to be even cooler overnight with temps dipping down into the 40s.
Having a brunch here at the office, which is good, cause I woke up hungry! :D
Looking forward to a pretty weekend. Will start it off by helping clean up the cemetery in the morning to get it spiffy for the blessing of the graves. Then on Sunday, off to another craft fair/market.
Also going to start assembling my "winter house". Don't want to get caught off guard if/when the first freezing temps arrive.
I moved the giant African Milkweed into it's new permanent indoor location yesterday. At least I don't have to worry about it.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -1°C and snowy. Yes, we got a layer of the white stuff overnight. I am not impressed as I had hoped to finish my garden cleanout today. I even left my tools and wheelbarrow out ready and they are also covered in snow. sigh . Off to skating this morning and then home to do laundry and clean house. I feel a baking session coming on! Have a great day all :)

    Happy Saturday evening.
It was in the mid 40s overnight and I had a hard time making myself get out of bed this morning. It was 60F in the house when I did finally get up and going. Brrrr...
Went to the church around 9am to help with the cleanup for the blessing of the graves tomorrow. Did my share of weed-eating and tidying up and then put fresh "fake" flowers on my parents' graves. Looked as though one of my aunts was already there since there were new flowers on my grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins graves.
Finished there around 11am and came home to do my own yardwork. The grass hasn't been growing much, but it still needed a mowing and some weedeating.
Then it was time to start to assemble my "winterhouse". Putting up the frame was a snap, but I had to wrestle with the chicken wire. I moved a few plants there, but didn't want to get it too crowded since I still have to rig up my lights.
Then I put the final coat of water-seal on my little garden table. Watered the containers. And I'm done! Pooped. Tired.
Gonna be cold again tonight, so I turned on the heater to make sure it's working before it gets really cold here. Nice in warm in here now.
So... time for an adult beverage and kicking back.

Good Sunday morning all! Currently -2°C and sunny. I just had a fabulous breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. I don't usually eat breakfast but I woke up very hungry and was craving eggs. Must have been that extra hour  Relaxing this morning with a cup of coffee. Haven't planned the day yet. Have a great day all :)
