Good Afternoon! It's very windy and only 45 on our thermometer right now. No sun in the sky either but no rain predicted for our part of the state. It's south of us. Getting on toward fall here. No winter snow though.

It was 45 when I got up at 7 but at 8:30 it was pouring rain with hail and only 33. It only warmed up to 36 today and it was very windy. Much to early to be this cold. wannabe

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast with strong winds. What a change from yesterday's 17°C and sunshine! Looks like indoor chores today, maybe some baking too. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. It sure was windy last night! Thank goodness it's died down today. Temps from mid40s to maybe mid50s today. Then there's a chance of reaching the freezing mark in the morning the next couple of days. All the plants are tucked safely away. I just have to cover up the Kalanchoes that line the front porch.

Good morning all. 32 degrees overnight, 38 deg now and sunny with a good breeze from the north. Mid 40's for highs and mid-20's for lows all week, chance of rain next weekend but not much of one.
This cold is just about average for my neck of the woods, we have had winter weather as early as late October in the last few years but usually the first freeze hits around mid-November.

Happy Thursday morning. Got about 3/4 in of rain overnight. And my thermometer showed 35F when I left home this morning. Not sure if we actually got down to freezing or not, but didn't take chances and had the lights on out in the winterhouse. We may warm up to 50F today, but doubtful.
I'm going to go get a new battery for my truck today, it had a difficult time cranking up this morning. Last thing I want to do is mess with it tomorrow if we're actually get down to freezing like they are predicting.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. The sun was shining this morning, but now it is overcast and snowing. I don't think we are going to get too much. A few errands to do today, and then I have to bake 2 dozen cupcakes for skating tomorrow. A busy weekend ahead! Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. I don't think it got as cold as they were predicting overnight (28F). My thermometer showed 34F first thing this morning. No frost which is a good thing. Sassy Marie went outside and came right back in the house. I guess she figured she could stay in longer since my brother & sister are there.

Good chilly morning all. Not as cold overnight as predicted, I was promised around 22 deg but it stayed around 30 all night. This has been a very dry cold front for us as usual and nothing but a slight 20% chance for Sunday then we will be back around 70 by this time next week.

Got Easy, crockpot/slow cooker Potato Soup in the slow cooker so it ought to start smelling pretty wonderful in a few hours.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. It's going to be a busy day today ... skating at 9am and then off to a skating competition in another town. We will just be spectators. Then off on a shopping trip in that town and then home later for the Santa Claus Parade. Off we go! Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Didn't get down to freezing like they predicted... again. Today is supposed to be overcast with highs in the mid 50s. I'll take that!
Today's the big day... my nephew is getting married. It's in downtown Houston and luckily my sister has a GPS so we won't get lost going there. Staying the night at the Hilton... uptown for me for sure! :D

Good morning! Getting a bit of a late start this morning. I didn't want to crawl out of that nice warm bed. It was about 35 on our thermometer when I looked out about 9 am. It's a stay at home day, maybe. There is just one yard sale that a friend is having that we might go to in a bit. We are trying to downsize, not buy more things.
