Good morning all! We are getting some frost these mornings as nighttime temperatures are dipping below 0 deg C. We have tons of berries on our hedges here but it's soon time to supplement the bird's diet with something extra at the feeders soon.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday ahead!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 0°C and snowing. I showed excellent restraint yesterday while shopping, only picking up one small part of a gift. I would really like to do the rest of my Christmas shopping locally. Waiting for a few packages to arrive and then I can start wrapping. Today I will finally dig out the decorations and start putting them up. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Foggy start to the day with temps from lower 50s to maybe low 70s.
Had just under 1/2 inch of rain over the last couple of days.
Not feeling the Christmas spirit yet, but need to at least check to see if I need to buy anymore Christmas cards. Gotta get that done soon.

Good morning all. Light winds out of the south bringing Gulf moisture up, humidity at 80% and temps in the middle 50's are creating an overcast/foggy day here.

Waiting for packages to arrive here too. One came yesterday but had been so poorly packed by the seller that UPS was able to almost squash the box almost flat until the item was broken.
The Seller is replacing it then we will return the broken one....UPS has gotten an angry email too.

There are more houses in our neighborhood with outdoor decorations than I remember seeing before and we have lived here for over 27 years. And I think they all plugged the lights in Monday night to get the season started.

We are home from our vacation. We left Nov. 24th and went to Wisconsin to visit our youngest son and his family. We took the train to Milwaukee and he met us and we went to Oshkosh, Wisconsin where he live. He took the time off from work and drove us around to see the area so we can picture where he works and shops and spends time. We had a visit with two of our grandsons, too. One is 12 and one is 16. They had Thanksgiving weekend off but had to go back to school on Monday. It was mostly in the 20f's but did go down to 12 degrees one night and it took it time to warm up the next day. But, we are home and it's supposed to be 73 degrees here tomorrow. "Supposed to be 73 degrees." I would like that I think.

Good morning everyone. It is a chilly day at -12. Have to get myself motivated to get something done today. I much rather sit right here. Have a happy day to all!

Good Friday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast. I had a productive day yesterday, and today I am rewarding myself with a coffee date with a good friend. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. A drizzly, foggy start to the day. Temps already in the 60s, so no doubt we'll make it to the 70s.
The week has gone by fast! Guess I'll use the weekend to start to begin to THINK about getting ready for Christmas. :D

Good morning all! Yesterday was strikingly cold however no snow yet. Wouldn't surprise me if we got some next week. I can almost see it hanging in the clouds.
    Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. A great visit with a friend yesterday and a little more Christmas shopping done. I really need a day when everyone leaves my house so I can wrap everything! I guess that won't be until at least Monday now. Off to skating this morning and then hopefully some time to play outside later. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Foggy outside, but doesn't look like it'll last long. Temps from uppper 50s to at least lower 70s today with a slight chance of rain.
Off to the last craft show on my list. Will keep an eye out for anymore popping up, but I don't expect anymore.
Then it will be time to put away the fall decorations. And I need to get the Christmas cards ready to mail out.
I'm sure the plants in the winterhouse would appreciate a drink... and the stuff tucked away in the garage.

Hey Dooley and DR, glad you are home safe and sound and had a great vacation....any photos to share? Is the truck running again?

Good morning all, not as cold this morning as I was promised but at least the high today won't quite reach the 70's.

We celebrated oldest grandson's 19th birthday last night, his birthday was Thursday but his Dad called dibs on having him that night. I was in the birthing room while my daughter was in labor and I was standing on a sofa in the corner of the room watching when he entered this world...seems like just a few days ago.

I think we are finally finished christmas shopping, except for three small things to take for the gift exchange game we always play at hubby's family get together and the ham to take down there. Now to get things wrapped and find a place where Spooky won't be tempted to play with the bows.

Long day already and it's just about 4 pm. We went to breakfast, stopped at the museum and took some papers from the museum in Oshkosh to her. Then, we went to Sam's Club in College Station. Walked the whole store and bought some things for Christmas gifts and for our Christmas. Had pizza for lunch. Then, to Kroger's for groceries and a few more Christmas things. Then, back to Madisonville. Stopped at the grocery. Potatoes were 5 lbs for 88 cents. We bought 10 lbs. We bought a few other things, too. It was a good day, not sunny but 68 degrees on one thermometer that I saw.
Home again and having deli chicken and baked potato for supper.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -9°C and sunny. So nice to see the sun shining for a change! Had a lovely dog walk this morning and hope to get outside again a little later. But first, a coffee and some GardenStew :) Have a great day all!

Good afternoon all! I can't get away from in front of the computer these days as I'm working on a project. My eyes are going square by the day. We got our first hint at possible snow an hour ago but it wasn't 'floaty' enough to qualify :)
    Have a wonderful Sunday all!
