Happy Sunday morning. Another overcast day with wind. Temps still in the 50s. At this rate, I think we'll only get to the 60s. Not comfortable enough to do anything outdoors today, so I guess it's a good day to get started on those Christmas cards and get a box ready to send off to my god-daughter's kids.
One thing I am going to do today is move that darn wind chime/suncatcher to a more protected area, the noise is driving me nuts! :D

Good Monday morning all. Currently -7°C and overcast with a SE breeze. That is kind of a rare wind and so it makes me wonder what is going to happen with the weather today. The sky was also red this morning. My morning routine is completely out the window this morning as Hubby is home. Did I ever mention how much I hate changes to my routine?? May just go out and do some Christmas shopping. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. Nice clear skies for a change! Temps ranging from lower 50s to upper 60s today. Maybe a little warmer since the sun is out.

Good evening! I'm just getting on the computer today. It seemed to be a day of running here and there and in and out of stores. It was a beautiful day today as compared to the last few days. It did get up to the upper 60's for a couple of hours before it started down again. We got our tree up but not decorated. Maybe tomorrow if we can just keep that truck in the driveway.

Good afternoon all. Boy is it ever windy, wet and cold here today. We have gale force winds and the place is drenched. Thankfully I have a lot of things to do indoors so I won't be bored.
Hope your day is dryer, brighter and more still :setc_072:

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. It is a dark morning, but it's not windy for a change so it was a nice dog walk this morning. I got most of my wrapping done yesterday and I'm still waiting for 2 packages to come. I need one more trip out shopping and then I should be ready for Christmas. I am looking forward to picking up my son from school this weekend. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Temps from upper 40s to upper 60s and lots of sunshine.
I still haven't gotten my Christmas cards ready to send out. The box is just sitting there. Maybe this evening?

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. There are brisk north winds making it feel more like -11°C. Debating a trip out for some shopping before the weather turns on us tonight. There is a nor'easter heading this way and even the weatherman can't guess what is going to happen. I'm going to have another coffee and ponder my day. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Looks like a repeat in the weather pattern... for the rest of the week too.
Started on the Christmas cards last night, finally. Will finish them up so I can send them out on Friday when I have time to get to the post office.

Good morning all. Some here wouldn't see this as a good morning though. Randy has Type A Flu, youngest daughter started getting sick at work this morning so Spooky and I are the only well ones here....so far. I had to re-schedule todays appt with the oncologist, don't think he wants a possible Flu bug carrier wandering around an office filled with immune compromised patients.
I am sucking down the Vit C, Echinacea, Propolis/Myrrh and Sambucus syrup in hopes of keeping well.

I think my car is officially on auto-pilot for the local hospitals. Thankfully I am not sick! My BIL had another heart attack last week and this week my MIL has been in the hosp. since Sunday. I took her in on Sunday morning to the ER and spent the entire day in there and she was diagnosed with pneumonia compromised by her asthma. I brought her home and my husband said she almost fell every time she turned a corner getting into the house and to her chair. We said "call before you go upstairs, we'll come help make sure yu get up them ok." Yeah. She fell backwards down the steps on top of my FIL (fortunately he didn't get the brunt of her weight) and I called EMS to come get her and take her back to the ER. I wasn't picking her up and "seeing" if she was okay. I said NO NO NO this isn't working! you need to go back. Maybe she will get to come home today. I just want everybody to be well!

Good Friday morning all. Currently -5°C and sunny. I was grounded yesterday due to the snowstorm, so I will be heading out today to do my errands and shopping. Have a great day all :)

As of today, we are a plaque house. All three of us have Type A flu, Randy also had pneumonia with his so he got an antibiotic. He is working for while today for the first time this week, he works from home so that's not an issue.
And the holiday party some friends have every year is put off until January since she has a upper respiratory infection and he has pneumonia. Glad I got the pneumonia vaccination last year in the hospital, I highly recommend that for anyone over 65.
Oldest daughter says that her school is running almost half empty with all the flu going around, just hope she and her boys don't get sick too.

Happy Friday afternoon. I pleasant day today with temps in the 70s. And a little cloudy. But no wind.
Got my packages mailed and Christmas cards too. Funny thing, I get to our little post office and say I need 20 Christmas stamps. She says, we're completely out of stamps... all stamps. I had to laugh... only here would the post office be without stamps! So I went to the next town about 6 miles away. They had to laugh about it too.
Took my aunt shopping and back home.
Don't feel like doing anything. I have a little sore throat, hope it doesn't turn into a cold!
I've got plenty of honey, lemon, tea and whiskey on hand to fight it off. :-D

Gloomy, damp day with no sun. No rain or snow either so that is good. I made a quick trip to town and then the gym. Now I am relaxing with a nice cup of hot tea.
