Good Friday morning all. Currently -11°C and sunny. I'm not sure why it's such a nice day ... weatherman calls for snow squalls and I know it's snowing at my sons school. I'm not going to complain because it's so nice to see the sun shining! Laundry to get caught up on today, and maybe some baking. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. A bit warmer today with highs in the low 40s... but it's rainy out.... again.
I do believe I'm turning into a duck!

Good morning! I see the ducks next door are all out swimming in the pond. My thermometer says it's about 29 but it rained all night and there is no icy layer in the puddles so maybe I need a new thermometer. Supposed to only get to near 40 degrees today. Lots of birds at the feeders.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -15°C and clear. The sun seems to be taking its time rising this morning! It's another bundle-up-to-go-outside kind of day, so that is what well will do when we head out to skating shortly. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning! Going to be another stay in the house day. 80% chance of rain and the high predicted to maybe reach 40f.
Guess I'll do the housework and gel in front of the TV. I got sick of nothing on when I was stuck inside over my holiday break, so I installed Netflix. And I have one more movie that I borrowed from SIL.
    I'm ready for sunshine! 8)

Good evening all. Another overcast and cold day!!! I am loving this weather. No precipitation of any measurable amount, just some sprinkles so far maybe some ice with a little rain during the night.

Good afternoon all! Our weather is still very windy (which will get worse) and some rain to be had also. I'm still fighting this flu virus so I think I will head to bed for a bit soon. I hate being under the weather! :setc_010:

Hope your Sunday ahead is great!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -9°C and overcast. At least the wind has finally died down! There is a nice swath of snow covering the gardens, and so far no sign of rabbits. Hopefully the Snowy Owl's are keeping them in the bush. I have a pineapple on the dehydrator and it smells delicious! My youngest loves pineapple but fresh makes her stomach ache. She can eat lots of dehydrated though, and it sure beats snacking on sweets! Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Its been raining since early this morning. From the looks of it, I'd guess at least 2 inches. If it stops I'll tromp out to the rain gauge.
I was thinking of going to my brother's today, but I got a feeling I'll be stuck to the recliner again.
Wish I had some potting soil, I'd get seeds started.

Good morning all. We did get a little rain last night, 1/2 inch in the gauge out front but it stayed warm enough to prevent icing on the roads.
The days will be slowly warming up this coming week, by Saturday it should be around 60 deg. :'( I wonder when the next cold front will be here?

It rained all night here and has drizzled most of the day. It's in the 40's during the day and 30's at night. It messes with my sinuses so I haven't been doing too much. We went into town today. Our dirt and gravel road was wet and muddy and full of water filled potholes. I hope they don't get big enough to swallow the truck. It's supposed to rain or drizzle through Wednesday. I made an apple pie. Good for warming the kitchen. Not so good for losing weight.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. It feels almost tropical after last weeks arctic blast!! I made home made laundry soap yesterday so I will be testing it out on a load of Hubby's shop clothing. I figured that would be a great test for it ... it if gets clean it's a good recipe! Keeping my fingers crossed as it was super easy to make and super cheap to buy the ingredients. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. A drizzly foggy morning commute. But at least temps are warmer with a high expected in the upper 50s.
I checked the rain gauge this morning... almost 2.5 inches of rain over the weekend.
I'm so tired of this weather! I know I shouldn't complain about rain, but honestly, we have only had maybe 3-4 days over the last 30 that had sunshine.

Good morning all. Overcast, breezy and in the 40's already, at least the breeze makes it feel comfy cool. 1/2 inch over the weekend and nothing in the forecast for at least the next week. The drought is following the prediction of getting worse this winter...one of the predictions I wish wouldn't come true and it's the only one that is coming true.

Every feeding station was covered with birds earlier and they did a good job of emptying them. Got them refilled for round two later today.

Good afternoon! It is afternoon already. Day is cloudy and gloomy looking. Temps in low 40's but it says zero percent chance of rain. We had a lot of rain Saturday and Saturday night. Roads had water running across them, ditches were overflowing. Water has receded but ditches are still running mostly full. No rain for a few days but no sun either.
