Good morning all. Yesterday with the drizzle that lasted 24+ hours we did get another 3/4th inch....add that to the 1.5 inches of last week with the ice and snow included we have had a wonderful amount of rain, compared to last year.

I am either going to have to clean the floors or spray the cat with Endust....I don't think I have enough bandaging supplies to try Endusting the cat so getting out the broom and vacuum is the safest idea.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -2°C and clear. A busy day ahead today ... I had beans soaking overnight and today I will make the sauce and can some beans in tomato sauce. Skating with my youngest at 5pm and then a meeting for soccer at 7pm. House cleaning in between as spring is on its way and I want spring cleaning done before I can play in the gardens! Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. No rain yesterday! But I did check the gauge for Monday night's total and it was another inch. Needless to say there's standing water everywhere. Overcast again today. But no rain in sight. Maybe more tomorrow. I really really would love to see the sun! Is it still out there?

Good morning all. Starting at 51 today and going to almost 70 later but it's still way to soggy to do much in the garden. I love being able to say that.....Way too soggy.....I haven't had many chances to use those words in the last year or so.....Way Too SOGGY. Ever notice how strange the word Soggy looks?
Sorry, I am rambling now.....I will return from my rambles shortly.

Had to buy a new vacuum clean last night, so many parts of my old one went on the fritz yesterday and the cat wouldn't stand still for me to spray him with Endust so we had to go shopping. Shame too, I think he would have had fun sliding across the living room floor.

We had a thick fog this morning. Started sometime last night and went until about 10am. Then it drizzled for a bit but by the time I left work at 3, the sun was shining and the temp was warm enough to make me want to put on shorts and a tank top! My phone says its 35º but it feels much warmer. Ive got my bedroom windows open now.

Spent a few minutes outside giving a few plants haircuts and picking up trash. I made the mistake of going into the backyard...my sister's monster dogs ate 4 shrubs and left dog bombs all over one corner of the yard where Id been planning to have a bed of shrubs...maybe not now! UGH!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -6°C and sunny. Off to do my errands and shopping, and hopefully home early to enjoy the beautiful day. I think I'm getting spring fever! Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Actually... not too happy. Started to rain when I got home yesterday from work. Lightning and thunder all night. 2.25 inches of rain and it was still pouring down when I left home this morning. I even came in an hour late because I didn't want to drive in that mess in the dark. Good thing too, because there were lots of areas with standing water that almost caused me to lose control. The Trinity River is at flood stage... probably will be out of it's banks if the rain continues much longer. I live about 10 miles away from it, so there's no threat to the house. But the pasture looks like a lake. There will be no yardwork for me this weekend, unless the sun comes out full force. At least the rain is supposed to stop for the next few days. What's a poor girl to do? Go plant shopping!!!! I picked up a few things off the mark down rack yesterday, and my sis-in-law, co-worker and her sister and I are going to a plant shopping/lunch trip tomorrow!!! That oughta lift my soggy spirits!
And Netty... you can send that sunshine anytime now! :stew2:

Good Thursday afternoon. I am going out front to play in the garden, it's 62 deg, cloudy, with an ever so slight chance of rain....somewhere, sometime today. But I have some cleaning up to do along the front sidewalk and I want to get as much of the front garden work done as I can before the city starts tearing up our street to repair years of wear and tear on it.

Happy Thursday everyone. It is a gorgeous day in Idaho today. Lots of sunshine and about 60 f or so. I've been planting more succulents today. Love to garden.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -3°C and dark. I am up before the crack of dawn today to get my daughter to the arena. She has a test day tomorrow and so this morning she will meet and practice with a male dance partner. I think she's a little nervous!
I'm good to go ... got the travel mug out and filled with coffee! Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Overcast and drippy this morning. Having weather like this month has been is so different from the last 10-15 years, rain every few days....some followed by ice or snow. NO complaints from me.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and drizzling. It must have rained overnight as a lot of the snow is gone now. There is still lots though. Off to the skating rink again this morning for rehearsal, and then back this afternoon for daughters 1st dance test. Not sure what we have planned for after that, except I promised home made pizza tonight. Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast with strong north winds. Had a good day yesterday ... my daughter passed her dance test right before the power went out! The rest of the people had to go to another arena in another town to do their tests, but in the end everyone passed. Today we will have a lazy day around the house. Have a great day all :) Cherylad, I hope the sunshine I sent you arrived yesterday? You can keep it there today too ... we need some rain ;)
