Good Saturday morning all. Currently 19°C and sunny, with a heat warning in effect for today and tomorrow. I'm back to driving my son to work until we figure out what is wrong with his car. He parked it in the driveway the other day and it hasn't wanted to start since. I have grass to cut and yard work to do because it rained yesterday and now I will be racing the heat. I shouldn't complain ... I much prefer the heat to the snow (that will be back before I know it!) Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 23° feeling more like 32°C with the humidex. Turns out my sons car needs a fuel pump. He is so lucky that the car quit in the driveway and that his Dad knows how to fix it! Another day of heat and humidity with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good rain without damaging winds or hail. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Not too bad out back as long as there is a little breeze and the sun hasn't climbed above the trees, after that it gets horrible. Got everything out back watered and that is the last of my outdoor activity for the day...100 deg coming along later. My doors and shutters will be closed to it and the central AC is on arctic blast, I am hoping to see snowflakes coming from the ceiling vents just any minute now.

Toni, I love the image of snowflakes coming from the AC vents!
Like you, I'm in for the day. Got the hens watered, fed, and turned into the outside coop, fed the wild birds and filled their watering stations. Now I can do the Sunday crossword puzzle and make some Foccacia bread.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 17°C, but it's still dark out. We got a bit of rain yesterday, but looks like I'll be dragging hoses today. I am also starting work on a new clients garden today. I look forward to something new! Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone! I had a very long journey back to Ireland yesterday so I'm completely jetlagged today. It's nice to be back to cooler temperatures though :stew2: However we are having a wet day today, very misty.
Hope you all have a great day ahead!

Good morning all. The first 100 deg day keeps eluding us, which is great, but the chances of it hitting us smack in the face are increasing with each day. If I can find that magic morning time before the mosquitoes are awake and hungry I can once in a while get out and do some watering and weeding.....but I missed it this morning so I am staying inside.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 18°C with light rain. Rain is not in the forecast today, so I think it will be short lived. Could barely get up out of bed this morning ... so tired! I will have to go to bed early tonight so I can get caught up. Off to work ... I hope it rained there too! Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Temps around here are upper 70s to upper 90s, with feel-like temps of 105. No rain (and I'm still not complaining).
My green chile plants are producing nicely now that there's some sunshine. The spicy bell peppers are even perking up.
Still going through plants to decide which one's will be put at the sale and which one's just aren't good enough to trouble with. As it stands now there's around 105 plants. I'm hoping to get that number down to at least 90 since I don't know how many Mrs. E will have to contribute until this weekend.

Good morning all! It's about 15 deg C here, 20 cooler than I lived with for the past month :) It's just perfect.
It feels so nice to bring the dogs for a walk again. Our youngest dog is losing her hair and looks quite patchy and strange at the moment. It seems like under her darker coat she has a light brown coat. Maybe she's a fox in an elaborate disguise :D
Have a great Wednesday ahead all!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 15°C and breezy. The cooler temperatures have been nice ... still need to drag hoses and water but at least I am not drenched in sweat! So much to do at work it is overwhelming! Off for another busy day, and a stop after work at a new clients garden, before heading home for dinner then soccer tonight. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. We actually got a little rain shower yesterday, about 1/4 inch of the stuff.
    Today still hot.
I've got this project at work that I've been working on all week, I REALLY want to finish it today so I can take a day off... maybe two! :)

Good morning all. Just another hot and dry one here. Years ago there was a weatherman on one of the local radio stations who, every year, would start his vacation on June 1st and returned to the air around Sept 15th.....he said the weather was always the same during those 3 and a half months so he really didn't feel like driving into town just to repeat the same words day after day. I wonder if the local TV weather people have realized they become redundant during that same time period.

Packing up my daughters things for her move continues. I emptied the pantry of all her foods yesterday. She is apparently a spree shopper when it comes to the Asian grocery store she likes, a lot of the things had been in there so long she had forgotten about them.....anyway, now I have 2 more shelves to use. The pickles I made last month and the grape jelly I will be making next month when we get the grapes from Randy's folk's freezer will fill one of the up nicely.... they have massive wild grape vines all over their property and this year is the first in several that there are any grapes so they have been picking and freezing them for me. Mustang grapes make really good jelly, tied for first place with the jelly made from Sea Grapes I used to make in Florida.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 15°C and clear. I am starting to sound like a broken record myself Toni ... off to work to drag hoses. I am tired, so very tired today. Just have to get thru an 8 hour day at work, and then a few more hours gardening at another garden, then home to pick berries and peas and then I can head back to bed haha I can't wait until Saturday! Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Let's see if I can come up with another way of saying this.....Ahhh.....the temperature out side is 53 degreesF warmer than it was on Dec. 31st (36 degF then) and that was at 9:30 am ......there is no chance of a solar eclipse today......and not a chance in you know where of water in any of it's forms falling from the sky.
