Good Morning Frank, it is still hot and humid here. The weeds are having a field day. Everything in the "nursery" looks good, but they are petted and pampered. I still have the Mexican Petunia showing off, along with the moonflower, and Mt. Fuji's. The roses are doing ok, but it is time for their pruning so I will get a fall bloom. I also have the cannas and zinnias still blooming, and my red lantana.

Just dropping in to say Good Morning to you all. Looks like some changes in the "stew" this morning. Have to change my walking time it's still just a little too dark at 5:30 a.m. right now. Hot and muggy here. Didn't see any of that wet stuff yesterday, but they are saying scattered showers this afternoon. Guess it's "wait and see" that's what they've been saying for a couple days. Hope you all have a nice day whatever you do. [IMG]

    Morning all.
There is nothing blooming in my garden any longer. the Cannas haven't bloomed since June, neither have the Hedge roses which usually bloom almost all year round, even the Lantana which is a native here stopped blooming in July.
Looks like I let myself get excited by the below 100 temps I had heard were coming this week. The best part of that forecast was the morning temp would be around 74-76 which meant I would have about an hour to work outside before the sun ruined the day for me. But that got taken away from me and we are back into the 100+ range for this week again.

Good morning all, it is mild for now, until the sun comes up. We are having to water again, but that's life. Hope everyone has a blessed Tuesday.

It is a cool and overcast morning but I know that won't last. It will get hot again. I'm ready for a good thunderstorm. Hope everyone has a lovely morning.

Morning all, nothing new in this corner of the globe. Same weather as usual and now this year has made it to #9 in the record books in the number of 100+ days and #8 in the number of consecutive 100+ days. If we reach 100 today that will put it in 8th place for total number of 100+ days.

Morning one and all! Very overcast here today, quite cool. Shhh, don't tell anyone but I have put the radiators back in the bathroom now. Groan...does that mean winters coming? Hope not yet. Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning All - Just dropping in for a minute. Seems like my walking later in the morning sure cuts into my time and I have to leave shortly. Still hot here althought the humidity is suppose to be lower. I couldn't tell it when I walked [IMG] Still haven't seen rain. I heard there were some sprinkles around but not at my house. Have a good day. [IMG]

MORNING!! Taking the day off and going to Whidbey Island with the dogs. Ron has a private lesson working cattle with his Australian Cattle Dog. I hope that they can get through to that hard headed @#$ (the dog, not Ron). I will take Pete and practice with sheep in the 65 acre field. There is a gorgeous view of Puget Sound at this farm. I just wish I were taking a horse with me to ride on the beach. That would be a perfect day. But this should be very close to perfect as is.

Morning all, should be under 100 today and tomorrow...then back to the 100+ for several days.

We were having dinner last night when there was a loud clap of thunder, the sprinkles started and the power went out. Our electricty lines and transformers are so dry and dusty from this drought that the least bit of sprinkle causes a short and the power goes out.
Last night was one of our scheduled mall walk nights anyway so we left for that. Power was back on by the time we got home, thankfully no night a motel like last time.
Oh, and by the way, those sprinkles for about 5 minutes was all the rain my yard got out of all the little storms in the area.

Goodness, I hope you get something lower soon toni! Ick.

And Muddybob - I loveWhidbey Island ,it's so beautiful - I hope your day is a good one.

Here it's about 60 and I'm looking out at nicely dark-grey clouds for the first time in a long time. All we've had are fluffy ones for so long - these look like they might, maybe, hopefully drop us a little rain. We could really use some... Been in the 80s later in the afternoons - probably similar today.
