Netty, get the filling replaced as soon as you can--that can be painful if the root is exposed to air. Congratulations on your greenhouse. Please, when you get it set up, post a photo (I plan to use it to give my husband a strong hint!).
Overcast and threat of rain today, so I'll nip out and pick the last (I think) of the Amish Paste tomatoes. They are green, but will ripen in the laundry room. We had a tomato salad the other night, and it sure tasted good!

Morning all. Haven't posted in a long time, although I have been lurking haha. Weather is chilly but sunny. Big change from a week or so ago when it was warm but rainy! Had a LOT of rain, but not as much as poor Missouri. Haven't done much lately except work and computer games. I've been pretty lazy. Almost feel like depression is trying to poke its back back into my life, though its not bad enough yet to need help for it. Don't have insurance for help anyway. Didn't pay for it yet cause I need to call the healthcare folk and get my costs straightened out. Too bad I'm such a procrastinator >_<

I cant wait for spring. Id like to sit out and do some more planting. In the meantime, I get to do some planning! :D

Good morning all. Overcast, chilly and could rain later.....a good almost wintery day but it could use some snow to make it better.

Got my 4 month visit with the oncologist this afternoon and oldest daughter recently cleaned out her backlog of old magazines so they will be taken out there too for the treatment area.

Good morning. We've still got freezing temps and no snow. The light dusting of less than 1 cm doesn't count as snow. Forecast says a lot colder in a couple of days and it's going to last all through January. We'll get used to it I guess. I'm off outside shortly. I hope I can move ok with all the clothes I have to wear. Enjoy your Thursday.

Good morning all. My Dr. visit yesterday went very well, a little low on Iron and Potassium which means a little pill every day and more potatoes!!! That part I can handle with no problem.

Today I will be again digging into the deep dark past of one side of my family history. I am going to check one more idea for my grandmother and if that flops then I will move to another branch of the tree....the Glenn branch holds lots of fun possibilities.

Good afternoon all. Currently 4°C and overcast. Finally found my son a coat, and it was 60% off regular price!:setf_016:
We also did some errands and shopping and now we are home trying to cook some chicken wings in the actifry. We have heard it cooks them to perfection!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all! Much harder to get out of bed these days as the air temperature is dropping. Real risk of ice and black ice on roads so it's getting more dangerous for drivers. The birds are gathering hastily around the bird feeder also. Cold weather is officially here!

    Have a top Friday all!

Good Friday morning all. Currently -5°C and overcast. The sky was incredible red this morning and it made me wonder if the weather man was wrong with his forecast. He said it would be mild and sunny today, but I think otherwise. Cleaning house today, and bringing in some firewood. Busy weekend ahead with skating and taking my son back to school tomorrow. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Our weekend project is to start on the bathroom re-do. Not the major things yet, those we have to save up for and find exactly what we want but we have found a few items on our junquing trips that will be used in there. We told our oldest daughter what our decor would be and she just shook her head in disbelief, we mentioned it to Randy's sister a few weeks ago and she was just stupefied. hehehehehe, the part of our plan where we totally confound our family is coming along nicely.

Good afternoon all! One of our cows was starting to give birth this morning. The thing was she wasn't due for another two months. We were worried but just an hour ago she gave birth to a perfectly healthy calf. What happened was that we purchased her earlier in the year and she must have been bulled just before we got her. What a relief.

    Enjoy your Saturday all!

Good morning all. Heavy overcast this morning but warmer than it was forecast to be :( so no flurries for us. Some good programs on our PBS station on Saturday mornings so I think knitting and watching will be my plans for the morning.
Got the medicine cabinet and assorted stuff off the bathroom walls yesterday, storage cabinet is now next to me for holding family search paraphernalia, some patching done where the light fixtures are different and light bar installed. Today will be sorting through all the 'stuff' that had accumulated over 29 years in this house and designing a shelving unit to hold what we keep. And clearning out the linen cabinet in the hallway to hold more than more stuff that we really don't need to keep. 29 years in one house = so much c*** that really doesn't need to be kept for the next 29 years.

Good morning all. It must have dropped below freezing for quite some time last night, ice on the birdbath is about an inch thick. It's above freezing now but not supposed to get warmer than the mid-40s today. Warming into the 60s during the week then another cold front.....real bronchitis causing weather.

I have been rummaging through my knitting patterns and yarn and have 7 projects (patterns and yarn) chosen for gifts next Christmas. Hopefully I can keep the momentum going and get them done through the year.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -10°C and snowing. We had very high winds and snow squalls last night, but thankfully didn't lose power. Those are exactly the kind of nights I wish I could sleep through, but the winds keep me up and I worry about the power going out and the fire blowing out or getting too hot. The winds are a lot calmer today, but there are still passing snow squalls and heavy snow falling. I made my daughters day when I told her it was a snow day and she didn't have to go to school! It also made for a very interesting dog walk this morning! We had a great day at the skating competition yesterday and my daughter won a silver. This was her first competition performing a solo and she did great! Today, I am doing some baking and maybe trying some new recipes... DH has finally decided that he wants to lose a few pounds and I am going to take full advantage and try some new veggie dishes. Have a great day all :)
