Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -8°C with snow and light winds. This is going to change in the next few hours to strong winds and snow squalls. I have already sent my daughter off to school, walked the dog, put out the recycling for pickup, and split and carried in a few days of firewood. Now I can finally sit down and enjoy my morning coffee! Have a great day all, and stay warm :)

Good morning all. We have 3 days in the 60s coming up then some winter weather arrives early next week.
Yesterday I took youngest daughter to the lab for blood work before carpal tunnel surgery next Monday. She is not an easy person to handle under blood draw circumstances, her anxiety kicks in big time but the vampiress was good and got it done in a record setting short period time. We went to breakfast then I dropped her off at her apartment and she slept the rest of the day....anti-anxiety pills are a good thing.

Hey all. Have the day off from work. Not doing much. Took a shower as soon as I rolled out of bed, let the dogs out to pee and now Im browsing the net. Trying to decide if I want to play Sims 3 or WoW lol

25º and a bit of sun with snow on the ground. The last 2 days I had to work and dig my car out from a thin layer of ice (had to use vinegar to unfreeze the driver side door!) while my bf stayed home (his normal days off work), but today Im the one who got to stay in while he had to dig his car out :D

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -16°C and overcast. Another long night of howling winds and snow is over (Thank goodness!) and just waiting for the next round of snow to begin. It wont have high winds with it this time at least. Off to get an oil change in my car this morning, and getting them to check my battery. I bought a new one in October, and for some reason it was dead yesterday. I have my skating class tonight, something I always look forward to. Have a great day all :)

Netty, if the battery was weak when you bought it, usually the first really cold snap will take it out. And it can be weak even when brand new.

Good morning all. Clear and bright this morning but winter will be creeping in on us over the weekend. Possible wintry mix on Saturday and again on Monday evening. No accumulation though :(. We could sure use what is called a Siberian Express.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -7°C and overcast. Had my oil change and battery checked yesterday. Not sure why it was dead, as it was fully charged by the time I got there. I think a mirror light left on may be the culprit, we shall see when I go out to start the car this morning. Off to do errands and shopping this morning, of course that all depends of whether the car starts lol Have a great day all :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. It is very dark this morning, and so I think snow or rain is in my future. I have been soaking beans overnight, and will use some in my dinner and canning the rest. Home improvement projects are going slow and I am eager to get into my new craft room, but still waiting for DH to have the time to re-seal the floors. The laundry and bathroom area is looking good so at least progress is being made. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. One more day in the 60s, colder tomorrow then a cold front with the possibility of a wintry mix Sunday night into Monday morning. About dadgum time Winter showed up around here!

Errands today, after Randy gets back from coffee with friends and having the oil changed in the truck. I have my list ready so it might be a loooooong day. But at least I do not have to cook supper, that's either going to be out somewhere or Randy is frying Spam when we get home.

Good afternoon all! While the rain has stopped for now but it has been replaced with much colder temperatures. A lot of frost in the mornings. I really feel sorry for any animals that are sleeping in the fields outside, especially young lambs. The roads are very dangerous for driving on.
Hard to believe we are midway through January already
Have a great Friday ahead all!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. We had rain overnight and we are at the freezing point so it is very icy out there. Off to skating this morning, and then home to do laundry etc. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. A little chilly out but not that bad, we might get rain later but that's not a big might, just a little might.

This morning we are having a going away breakfast for our oldest grandson and his love. They are leaving for a new life together in Houston.....she is a great girl and very good for him. She is in her second year at college and he will transfer his credits down there but this semester he will be job hunting and getting settled in. They were tired of a long distance relationship and the every weekend trips from here to there or there to here were expensive and putting a lot of miles on the cars. Ahhh, young love, sometimes it's stupid but once in a while it lasts for a long lifetime.

Brrrr day all. :D Norway's finally getting some snow to go with the cold weather from Siberia. I've already been outside for a couple of hours. Not looking forward to the next stint but needs must. We actually have to shovel today. The temps aren't too bad. -5°C or 23°F. We had to go to town to get our youngest measured for her national costume. Her confirmation ceremony is on May 7th. She also has to decide what kind of silver she'd like to wear with her costume, but that's the hard part. *lol* We'll give her time, no rush. Have a nice day.

A Great Day! Being out in the yard pulling unwanted plants, digging and moving others or just enjoying the misty sometimes rainy day. Nothing like getting muddy, wet and seeing a rainbow.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -3°C and overcast. Another day of freezing rain/snow ahead, and another day of indoor improvements around the house. Laundry room and downstairs bathroom are just about done, the craft room floor has been sanded and washed down, and today the sealer goes down on the floor. I am currently trying to decide if I want to change the wall color in there ... it is currently pink, and I'm not sure I like it. Have a great day all :)

*lol* Jewell, we're a world apart! It's afternoon here now. I've been out riding in the snow, and after that I shoveled snow for an hour. I started with the snowblower but it gave in after half an hour for some reason. I think it's me. Machines don't like me. I can't find out what's wrong with it, and hubby's ill and can't help. It's still snowing and we've got some strong wind gusts too. I'm glad I've got a heavy 4WD car to get around. I'll probably be shoveling some more later today. The temps aren't bad, around 0°C or 32°F.
