Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny, with a strong NW wind. Dear daughter is back to school today, after an extra long weekend home. Hubby is heading to work shortly, and so I will be home alone, with no distractions... I am starting spring cleaning today!! With the weather improving, it will be time to head back to work soon. I do not want to go back without my spring cleaning being done. I'm starting in the kitchen, including windows inside and out. That should take a good part of the day. Have a great day all :)

Oh, Netty, there are people who can help you with that affliction....I'll bring the wine maybe someone else could pick up a chocolate cake and we will help you get passed this urge.

Good morning all. It was supposed to be overcast today, not clear and sunny. There go my plans to work in the full sun bed today, I may never get that bed re-made....I do have a set of lights that clip on to the bill of my gardening hat I guess night work will be begin earlier than usual this season.

Going to play some Guild Wars 2 and try to get to level 80 (Im currently 61) so I can use my new Hawk Wings glider skin :D

Just got in from cultivating the onions, potatoes, squash, broccoli, and cucumbers. Why do the weeds grow so much faster than my vegetables?
Husband is off to get a haircut--hopefully this time he won't come home with a coconut or a rifle. I think the scent of hairspray does something to his rationality.
Bip, I have no idea what a Guild War is, but I hope you get to the 80 level, and can use the glider skin (which I also do not have any idea about, but if you want it, you should have it!).:smt027

Hehe Guild Wars is a computer game, like World of Warcraft (which I also played until the bf and I discovered GW!). The gliders are hang gliders that your character can use to glide from taller objects (Ive fallen off mountains and died a few times...a glider would save my behind! :D), and a 'skin' is simply a way to change the look of your glider.

Hawk Wings skin (they're still visible even when I'm not using the gliding function! :D)

Mercy, there are more things in heaven and earth than I dreamt of! Thank you for explanation. Otherwise, I'd be awake at 2 a.m. wondering what a hang wings skin was, and if I should get one!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 0°C and sunny with some clouds. I am just so full of energy today!! Must be my new diet plan ... lots of fruit and veggies, no bread ... I feel so energized! I'd better put the energy to good use and get some work done around here! More windows to do, and vacuuming, wood to bring in and some plants to re-pot, bedding to change, and maybe I can edge a garden or two! Have a great day all :)

Netty, put some protein in that diet plan cutting carbs is always a good idea but your brain functions better on protein.

Good morning all. Some rain in the area but according to radar it is training more north than east, not holding my breath.

Netty, I read your post about today's plans, and immediately went back to bed! Girl, you have plenty of energy already--you are putting the rest of us to shame!
I did some up-potting, watched my husband spread mulch around the asparagus bed (he's so meticulous, while I just get the stuff down and figure the wind will distribute it!). The hens were upset because I raked out the new coop and destroyed the craters they had dug for their afternoon naps. They'll get over it.
Now I have the remains of the Easter ham in a pot with beans and aromatics, making ham and beans to put in the freezer.
Also hoping the severe weather predicted for late this afternoon doesn't materialize for me, nor for Toni.

Don't worry Toni, I haven't given up meat, eggs or nuts, and quinoa has protein too. I have mainly given up anything processed and bread products. And I'm avoiding sugar and sugary things ... that stuff is in everything! Oh and coffee ... haven't had a coffee or anything caffeinated for over 3 weeks! I am so fully of energy, and things don't hurt anymore :)
Good Thursday morning all. Currently 10°c and raining. I'm off to do some shopping and errands. My shopping trips are getting much lighter since I stopped buying processed foods. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Storms didn't materialize for my part of the state yesterday. No rain at all yesterday morning and in the afternoon I got 1/20th of an inch. So back to warm and dry here.

Did Gramma searching again yesterday, still no luck. So I started on another family line and found info on my step-grandmother who I hardly knew and had no last name for but thankfully she was in a Louisiana phone book with my granddad. They had no children so I was glad to find another family tree with her in it.

It has rained here all day. Rain is predicted along with a rain/snow mix everyday until Tuesday. No snow yet but it will probably pay us a visit during the time between now and Tuesday. dooley

Good Friday morning all. Currently 4°C and overcast. A busy day ahead, and another busy day tomorrow. We also have snow in the forecast for the weekend.
Maybe Monday will bring spring like weather. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Rainy day here at 8 degree C. The weather has been a roller coaster. Netty, we are to get that storm here also. Temps are going down to -2 on Tuesday so it will be snow instead of rain.:(
I will be potting up some strawberry seedlings this afternoon. I planted the seeds back in January and they are all doing quite well. I gleaned the seeds from berries we picked at a strawberry farm. This is the second time for raising my own seedlings. Only thing is, I don't know what variety they are. I do know they produce lovely big berries :). I tried planting roots that I had purchased but they all died and I never got one strawberry.
Well, I must get up and take my blueberry muffins out of the oven. Have a great day everyone! :flower:

Happy April 1st everyone! All's well here... if only it would dry up a little bit.
Going plant shopping tomorrow to hopefully I can get my flower beds cleaned up and prettied up real soon. Hope everyone is doing well!
