Good Sunday morning all. Currently 4°C and sunny. I got a lot done in the yard yesterday, but only a few things of those things were actually 'on my list'. Today, I want to get the pea trellis up and the peas planted, the shed cleaned out, and the gardens raked out. BUT a friend just dropped off a wood chipper and so my plans may get changed again. So much to do this time of year! Have a great day all :)

Good morning all, made even gooder by the rain that has been falling the past few hours.
Enjoying the rain a few minutes ago when Mother Nature decided to send us a wake up call....snapped her fingers, there was a great CRACK of thunder and our electricity went out. She must have felt sorry for what she did cause it came back on in about 10 minutes. She loves to play games with us and our weather sometimes. But there are a lot of sirens in the distance, must have been a lightening strike or two somewhere.

Rain means no yard work, which is fine with me today I am still very sore from Thurs and Friday. Chance of rain all week, but I hope there will be a few dryish hours in there too. Lots to do out back and there is still a chance (since history usually repeats itself) of heat and dry returning and chasing me inside for 3-5 months.

Have a chiropractic appointment today which I really need, my arm is going numb and tingly again. Never had a problem with it til I started working at my current job, but its been much better since I started seeing Dr Scott. Then Im going to visit my dad for a bit. He lives up in Indy. We're going to go to a nearby (to him hehe) park to play with our cameras.
When I get back home, Im going to do a bit of planting in the front bed, Ive got some annuals sitting on the porch drying out :/

Good morning all. Overcast, warm and muggy. Closest rain is about 2 hours way west and north of us heading into Oklahoma but you never know what's going to build up later.

Good morning, and a special good morning to Toni, who may be dry today! We have the overcast, warm, muggy weather too, and the hens are still confined to the new coop and are not happy about it.
I got antsy to go outside, so I deadheaded roses and checked on the new roses to see if they were in standing water, which thankfully they are not.
I want to go outside and play!:(

Well, my car broke down again. I made it to Indy for a visit with my dad, stopped at a Meijer to browse the garden center, and obviously my car doesnt want to leave there.
My sisters bf is supposed to look at it and hopefully get me rolling again. Im annoyed. At least I got my visit with dad.

Found a little AC 225 welder on Craig's list I'm going to pick up today. That way I have the ability to weld some projects when the boy is outta town with his rig. But that means I also need to run 220 out to the shed. So I'll be on that as soon as I'm off work.

It's not raining yet. But it's supposed to be as soon as I get off. So I'll just wire up the inside and wait till rain is out of the forecast on thurday to run the wiring.

Im awake way earlier than I like to be

As mentioned above, my car broke down again last night. I went up to Indy to visit my dad, stopped by a Meijer to browse the garden center, and when I went to leave, the car wouldn't start! So my dad picked me up, I spent a good afternoon with him, and at 6:30pm, my sister and her bf (who was a mechanic in his younger days) came by to see if he could get the car running, or at least figure out what was causing it. He thinks its the security system or some kind of coil (I don't really understand car talk). But he couldnt fix it, so my bf had to drive up from Columbus to call AAA. They got to us about 10:30ish and drove my car to my local mechanic. Then this morning I had to drive the bf to work so I could have his car to drive myself to work later. UGH!

This is the 3rd time since I got the car last May that I've had to take it in (I'm not even counting the oil change and new tires/tie rods earlier this month). I'm about to start taking the cost of repairs out of the cost of the car! Its not like the guy takes my payments on time anymore anyways...(I pay through Chase QuickPay, and he's let the last few payments expire!)

Good wet, soggy, rainy, overcast morning to you all! Can you tell I'm a bit tired of damp? Got up early and went to the barn to check on the hens. They were not happy about the lights coming on at 6 a.m., not happy about not getting outside today, and just generally not happy. My husband has a bunch of unhappy women on his hands:sete_028:!
Plan to bake and bake and bake. My freezer overfloweth Netty, so skip the grocery and come on down!

Lol. Sounds like your Hubby is going to have it rough. Give it hell girl.

I wish I could bake. I can weld. I can cook. I can grill and smoke meat. I can draw and sing and play several instruments. I can fabricate. I can do electrical and build a bike from the ground up. I can read a print. I can string words together in an elegant prose and create a story. I can grow things and drive anything with wheels or tracks. I can hit the x ring at 500 yards with an AR and iron sights. Am absolute hell with a pistol. But I can not freaking bake. I destroyed a ready made cake, seriously I did. All I had to do is put it in the oven. There is something about baking that simply escapes me.

Anyway, it's not raining yet so earlier plans are off. I'm going to find fungus.

Good morning all. Another round of rain overnight, this time l.38 inches. That's a total of just over 4 inches since Sunday...not much when you look at Parker County and Houston...thankfully.
Don't think I will be working in the yard today, while there is no flooding here the soil is very soggy.
