Good Sunday afternoon all. Currently 7°Cc and overcast. Happy Mothers Day to all the Mom's out there, I hope your families take the time to appreciate all you do. I was up until 3am cleaning up the rented hall after the party, and my daughters dog woke me up at 6:30 to go out. Needless to say I am very tired today! I think it's going to be a lazy day. Have a great day all :)

Ok. So weeding with a hangover. Not as therapudic as I thought it would be. But I got three quarters of the garden done.

One of my strawberry bushes is dying. It looks like it was growing out of the ground instead of taking root.

Good monday morning all. Currently -1 degrees C and clear. Heavy frost last night, thankfully I had nothing out. Discovered yesterday how poorly I function with only 3.5 hours of sleep. I was in bed by 7pm! Feeling better rested today, and off to work I go. Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone. The sun is coming up. It rained yesterday afternoon. And I'm getting ready for work. I'm soo not a morning person.

Good morning all. Went to Randy's folks for Mother's Day yesterday, safe trip down there, good visit, safe trip home and we got a little rain during the whole event. Still a little rainy, so I guess laundry and other cleaning chores are the order of the day.

good Tuesday morning all. Currently 1 degree and clear. Yesterday turned out to be a very productive day. My daughter twisted her ankle and swelled up so big she couldn't get her skate on! So while she had ice on, I went out and cut the grass, trimmed and weeded the garden a bit. I also saw my very first Hummingbird of the season! Also picked some Asparagus from the garden. off to work, have a great day all :)

Good morning all. I was going to get out in the garden today but when it is almost 80 degrees at 8 a.m. it's a day for inside activities for me. Supposed to get up close to 90 today :worried: Summer appears to be returning, it is later this year than most past years but we have had such a great Spring I was hoping for a little longer delay before H*** took over again.

Hello all. Partly sunny/cloudy and 68º right now.
I was rather disappointed when I woke up this morning and it started drizzling, but by the time I got back home after errands, it was nice enough to plant some Delphiniums I bought a few days ago. Very excited for them to grow. I love how Delphs look, but have never planted them before.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 5 degrees C and clear. Off to work, where I will be planting onions and shallots first thing, and then working in the herb garden which is overgrown with grass. I think it's going to be a long day! Skating tonight with my daughter as the swelling in her ankle has gone down and her skate fits on again. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Rained last night so the ground is soggy this morning, we actually got a decent amount too. With lots of thunder and lightning so the plants have had a good nitrogen boost and the cat was scared silly.

Had my quarterly visit with the oncologist yesterday, we both decided that I am his most boring patient and we both like it like that!!!!! Next appointment in Sept then the visits are spread out to only twice a year for year 4 and 5.

Today I have plans to stick some Zinnia and Sunflower seeds in the H*** Strip for summer blooms and just whatever comes to mind that I want to do....might be reading since I have a large tome on George Washington's life that I am itching to get into.

Toni, I'm so glad you are a boring patient! Please stay that way:smt109.
I pulled a muscle in my back on Tuesday, so yesterday and today I did zilch. However, I found my husband can do laundry, load and unload the dishwasher, and fix dinner. This is something I'm going to file away in the old memory bank!

Wait, don't celebrate yet. First, does he know how to sort by color.? Randy, in his single days used to do two loads of laundry a week and both types included blue jeans and hot water.
While I was in the hospital Randy unloaded and loaded the dishwasher several times but the first time he learned why NOT to use liquid dish detergent and how to mop the kitchen floor.
His specialty for dinner is sliced, fried Spam and black-eyed peas. Thankfully, I like those foods.

It's all right, Toni. I was standing by supervising the laundry sorting. When my husband was single (back in the 60's) I don't think he did laundry.
I made sure husband understood the different between dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. My kitchen floor is still unmopped.
Last night we had Chinese take-out, and tonight a simple dinner of chicken breast and vegetables. I felt up to preparing it. I love that man dearly, and sure don't want him to get the idea he can get along without me!
