Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. It;s going to be a stellar day with highs expected to reach 14°C!
I'm going to get the last of the cleanup done outside today and enjoy what may be our last warm day of the year!
Have a great day all :)

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 3°C and overcast. There are strong winds which seem to be changing around from south west to north west. The temperature is dropping today too ... we hit 15°C (59°F) yesterday and I'm sure that must be a record! Hubby had the lawn tractor back out and was cutting grass, and I was working in the gardens! It was great while it lasted! Today I'm inside working and this afternoon there will be a load of wood delivered. That will have to be stacked in the woodshed.
A busy day ahead and skating tonight.
Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny.
Today is errand and shopping day, and so my woodpile is going to have to wait!
Have a great day all :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently 3°C and overcast. It is very dark this morning.
I got started on my wood pile yesterday, but didn't get too far before the rain started. I put a tarp over the wood to keep it dry and I will head back out there for a little while this morning.
I will have visitors this afternoon-daughter and son in law and their dogs are coming for a visit and a doggy play date.
It will be a fun day!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Warm temps continue here until at least next Wed when a poor excuse for a cool front moves through to bring not December temps but more like what should have been November temps. I hold out no hope for having any real winter before Spring moves in around Feb. I think I am going to paint snowy murals on the windows so I can at least look at something wintry instead of blue skies and 80+ deg. All my trees are bare of leaves, having dumped most of them on the driveway yet again, and very few plants have stopped blooming. I really need winter weather.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -1°C and sunny. It was foggy this morning when I walked the dog, and so we had frozen fog. It looked cool, I wish I would have taken my camera along. Sun had burned it all off by the time we returned home from our walk.
I got most of the wood stacked yesterday, and today there are just a few larger pieces to split again and stack. We have a lot of wood now, and we may even have enough for next year once it all dries!
Today, a bit of yard work, a clean up in the mudroom, and digging out some Christmas decorations.
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently -1°C and clear. Another mild and beautiful day ahead today, and then rain sets in tonight.
I'd better get the last of the outside stuff done today! I'm waiting for a few packages to be delivered today, and then a few hours at the arena tonight.
Have a great day all :)

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -1°C, wet and windy. The winds are blowing hard from the southwest, and they are to swing around to the north. It's very dark as well, and my dog walk was kind of spooky this morning. Indoor jobs to do today and maybe some online shopping. Have a great day all :)

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -4°C but with the windchill feeling like -10°C. Got me to wondering if everyone knows what windchill is or just us up in snowy Canada?
It's a cold one! Off to the arena to help look for costumes for the upcoming Competition. Then home to do some baking before heading back to the arena tonight.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. We finally have a few days of near winter temps, 30s at night 60s during the day. For us this is winter and hopefully will last longer than the 3 days last January that made up our 2016-2017 winter season.

After 7 months of threats, deadline extensions and hot air coming from D.C. it appears the government shut down will begin in three days. Oh, boy, isn't that exciting and so thoughtful to have it begin two weeks before Christmas!!! We have been sticking as much in savings as we could and filling up the freezer, but now we need to make a pantry stocking-up grocery store trip tonight.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -4°C and cloudy.
Off to a 3D ultrasound today with my daughter so I get to see my little grandbaby! I'm excited!
We may do a little Christmas shopping later too. It's going to be a fun day!
Have a great day all :)

No snow today. Temps near 30 degrees. Sun is shining. It's supposed to snow an inch or so on Friday night and maybe Saturday morning. We have only had a dusting of snow that the wind blew away so far this "winter." I don't think winter has really arrived yet. dooley

Good morning all. Windy and winter here this morning 37 when I got up and the next two mornings should be in the low 30s, maybe even down into the 20s.

Netty, have you decided what the grandbaby is going to call you? Don't bother really, they will come up with a proper name for you....my oldest grandson called me Bonka for the first couple of years when he started talking. Don't know why but he outgrew that when he was about 3. :worried:
Is there another Grandmother you will have to contend with for possession of this grandbaby when the families get together? When I learned my first grandson was on his way I asked my daughter how old the other grandmother was and if she was a hands-on type. If she was older than me I figured I wouldn't have to fight too hard to get the new baby away from her when her Gramma time was up and she turned out to be a very NOT hands-on type so I was very happy.
