    Happy Saturday everyone.
We've had our ritual breakfast out :-D and got the weekly groceries shopped for and put away,
so the rest of the day is mine to do with whatever I wish. :D

Mostly, 8) I wish it were just a bit warmer, looks like it won't climb above the mid 50's today.
It's sunny though, and pretty comfortable, if you can find a spot sheltered from the chilly breezes.

Good aftermorning all, still some snowy slush on the ground now and it's starting to heat up again. I'm not a particularly big fan of slush, it's neither here or there

    Current temps: 1 deg C / 34 deg F
Current listening to: RTE Radio 1 Ireland

    Have a relaxing Sunday!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently sitting at -11 deg C with a brisk south west wind. I'm wondering what happened to the birds...haven't seen a single bird at my feeder in 2 days! Do they know something I don't?
    Have a great day all.

Good morning all. Must be the bad winds went north or maybe just stayed west and are stalled west of Richard, but they never got here. Good.

Morning all. A nippy 44 out this morning, not hardly any rain yesterday. I need to go out back to see what, if any, damage was done by the winds.

Eileen, we found your high winds yesterday and after letting them blow for a few hours they were sent on thier way in your direction. We had sustained winds of 35 miles per hour with gusts of over 50 for over 12 hours. In fact the gusts were occurring so frequently they could have been called sustained winds.
High winds way out west of us too, Lubbock is a big cotton growing area and at this time of the year the fields are barren, the dry soil just waiting to fly. So about 5 hours after the wind started here we also had what appears to be the worst dust storm ever seen in the north Texas area, visibility was down to less than 1/4 mile.
Between the dust and the high winds DFW Internation airport about 20 minutes away from us had to cancel and turn away more flights yesterday than on any day since 9/11

Hoping those winds have had time to settle themselves down a bit overnight, Toni,
the film out of Arkansas was a shocking thing to see this morning.

It's calm here for the moment, but that storm front is headed this way,
and it's becoming more overcast by the minute.
I won't mind the rain, or even a good old fashioned thunderstorm,
we could use the moisture, but we don't need the high wind.

Good Morning/afternoon everyone - 54 and sunny here right now. Did have a lot of rain and booming thunder and lightening last night. I think most of the bad weather was south and north of us. Guess we were in the middle. Have a nice Sunday.

Good morning all, finally a day off after 7 in a row, the old body is really protesting. A little nippy here this morning. Waiting for the dew to dry a little then outside to see what we can accomplish.
