Good Thursday morning all. Currently -8°C and overcast. We had some light snow overnight and that light layer sure made for treacherous walking conditions.
The road and my driveway are a sheet of ice, and with the light snow on top it's down right dangerous! I'm not sure why the town hasn't dealt with the icy road yet ... it's been like that since New Years Eve.
Off to do my errands and shopping, I'd better drive really slow!
Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday all. Cold and rainy here, the snow in Texas stayed way west of us .... dang it!!!! But at least it is cold, hovering around 32. And in a couple of days the temp will be hovering just under 70. Which is good, I have a lot of cleaning up to finish out back.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -6°C and sunny. I had a beautiful dog walk this morning ... sun was shining, birds were singing, and not a single other person out!
Going to do some skating today I am sure, on the Mums and Tots session. I usually have the biggest Tot (she's 15!) It's usually a very quiet session and most times we get at least an hour to ourselves.
Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -3°C and overcast.
Another slippery dog walk, and I actually fell down in my driveway today! Hopefully todays mild weather will melt the last of the ice.
Off to visit the grand baby today. He took his first steps yesterday! Next month he will turn 1 year old already!
    Time sure flies!
Have a great day all :)

Good evening all, hope you are ok @Netty Did go out into the garden this afternoon and put some grease bands on the apple trees.
It's nice to get out there after Christmas and get in the swing of things again.

Netty I bet there was some delights regarding the first steps, as it's lovely seeing them achieve their first goal :)

    Hi @Logan

Your post has just reminded me. I have Apple, pear and plum patio trees. I missed putting the sticky bands on in the autumn. Do I put them on now or the spring?

The other year I forgot to put bands on and got a lot of leaf curl.
