Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny. Weatherman calls for rain and strong winds later, so I have already been out to walk the dog and bring in firewood. Just had my shower and after I finish on my computer, I'm going to do a bit of recreational cooking as well. The next few days are going to be busy and so I'll make up a few dinners today.
Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -3°C and sunny. We didn't end up getting rain yesterday, but snow! We had passing snow squalls all day, but thankfully it didn't stick.
I am ready for spring, and I hope that is the last of the snow.
I'm off to do my errands and shopping today.
Have a great day all :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. Weatherman says we are going to get some freezing rain today.
Tomorrow should make up for all this wintery weather ... sunny skies and a high of 15°C! I plant to get lots of garden claen up done tomorrow!
Today, housework so tomorrow I can play outside :)
Have a great day all :)

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 2° and overcast. I'm hoping the weatherman isn't wrong and it's going to warm up and be sunny enough to do some garden cleanup.
I have discovered that a raccoon has been getting into my garden shed, I'm just not sure if its still in there! I opened the door and couldn't see it, but it could be up on top of the rafters.I'm not sure how I'm going to figure this out LOL Maybe I'll put the trail camera out and see, or the live trap. My dog seems to think it's in there and he's not usually wrong! I don't want babies in there!!
Have a great day all :)

Afternoon all. We got a whoppin' 1/5th of an inch of rain today...so far that makes almost a whole inch in almost 3 months...not looking good for this Spring and Summer either.
I have been spending a lot of time in the gardens, many plans and plants.....just hope the weather cooperates and we get some rain once in a while to make my work worth the effort.

We've been getting rain here for a couple of days but not a lot. Maybe half an inch. It might get to 67 tomorrow. I did change from wearing my heavy winter coat to a fleece lined spring coat. dooley

We had "severe weather warning" today, but it amounted to 1 1/2" of rain, and some thunder. We were lucky!
Husband and I did a lot of work outside yesterday, preparing for rain, so our vegetable beds and yard were ready for a soaking.
We are going into spring mode, which means we get up, feed the cats and hens, have a cup of coffee, and do what is needed, like picking lettuce, watering herb pots, and then sitting in the dining room, watching the song birds come into the feeders. Cardinals are loud!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 6°C and overcast.
I had a few wonderful hours out in the yard yesterday, raking and pruning and cleaning out gardens. Today I am a little sore, so I'm going to have to do some more today. No pain no gain haha I made pretty good progress, getting 4.5 gardens cleaned up. Today, I'd like to get at least 2.5 done, they are the big ones out back. Rain tomorrow and so I'll do housework then. Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently 5°C and raining. The rain held off long enough for me to walk the dog, but I think it rained a good part of the night ad there is a small lake down the front of the property. Today I'll be doing some deep cleaning in the kitchen, so let it rain! April showers bring May flowers, and now that my gardens are raked out they might like some water! Have a great day all :)

    Happy Birthday Palustris!
Good Morning all. Currently 5°C and overcast. We had rain overnight again, and my car looks really clean haha
I soaked some beans overnight, and I'll be making up a batch of baked beans today. Canning jars are in the dishwasher.
After that, I'm making my boys a shepherds pie for dinner tonight as my daughter and i will be at the rink.
I also have some projects to make with my Cricut machine today, so it's going to be a busy day!
Have a great day all :)

April is definitely MY month! First it starts off with April Fool's Day, named for all fools,of whose band I proudly count myself a member, and now today is National Antique Day! I'm antique, and I'm recognized as valuable. I may be an old fool, but at least I cost a lot!

    Oh sorry! Happy Anniversary Palustris!!
Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. It was hard getting up today ... the alarm woke me out of a deep sleep, which hasn't been the norm lately. I've been waking up at 4 or 5 am for the past few weeks. It was a busy day yesterday so perhaps that is why.
I can't decide what to do today ... stay home and work on my spring cleaning project or go to Costco :headscratch:
I probably should stay home and work on spring cleaning.
Have a great day all, what ever you are doing!

    good morning all.

the other day was nice we could go outside with nothing more than a sweater, most of the snow had melted, I cut back the hedges, FINALLY, Spring had arrived. and then it snowed and it's below freezing again.
