    Good Sunday morning
Light cloud and light wind, better than yesterday.
Yesterday went to see my friend Keith, he's doing better now that the heat has gone, his MS gets worse because of it, but he's better now.

Last night watched a 4K UHD blue ray DVD called Bohemian Rapsody it's a story about Queen.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -1°C and sunny.
We had a good day yesterday, but came home to a broken sump pump. If I hadn't checked it when we got home, we would have had a flooded basement!
We had a spare and all is well, but wow we were close to disaster!
Today, I promised my dog I'd stay home with him all day. I've been very busy and he's feeling neglected. I may go and see if there is anymore compost, but I can take him with me... He likes car rides now. Other then that, we'll be at home getting stuff done today, and maybe even some time in the garden.
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast.
Hoping for good weather today so I can get some gardening done!
Been watching some garden shows and have finally ordered my rattlesnake beans ... I'm feeling inspired!
Have a great day all :)

Netty glad that you ordered your beans. Weather not too bad sunny intervals and coolish breeze. Going to see if i can find somewhere to put my lupins.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. When I was BBQing dinner last night it was snowing. Is it ever going to warm up??
I hope that May will bring some warmer weather - just realized that is tomorrow!
Hoping my beans arrive soon, and the few other things that I ordered 'just because' haha
Have a great day all :)

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 5°C and raining.
Water levels are getting very high from all the rain. Many towns north of us are already underwater, and the water will get higher as the water runs through the water shed. Thankfully I am on high ground, but we are keeping a close eye on our sump pump. We've already burnt one out this week, and had a near disaster in the basement.
Hope to get a lot of odds and ends done around the house today. Woke up with a sore throat so I'd better make some home made chicken soup too.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Lots of rain and a tornado in the area last night.....not a drop landed on my garden and thankfully the tornado was well northwest of me. But at this time of year there are always more chances.
I have all the ordered plants in their new homes, there is a possibility of rain every day for the next 10 days then as usual Mother Nature will remember which way to turn the nozzle and stop the rain for about 4 months. And then there is the summer heat to come. At least this year she put that off until a more summery part of the year, last year it started in early April.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 4°C and overcast.
It rained all day yesterday, water levels are continuing to rise. This has to be the worst spring I can remember... it is still only 4°C this morning and high is only expected to reach 10°C.
Wonder when mother nature is going to let spring begin here?

Good Friday morning all. Currently 2°C and raining. Again.
Looking forward to the showers clearing this afternoon. Not sure if I'll be able to do anything outside with the ground being so wet.
Tomorrow we plan on doing our back roof so I hope the rain will at least hold out for that.
Have a great day all :)

Netty we have been having rain rain and more rain here in New England. No snow though, I guess I can count myself lucky for that.

I am thankful that I mulched my community plot last fall: the soil was loose & ready for planting this spring. If I hadn't , I wouldn't be able to turn it over, it has been so wet.

Today we are supposed to have rain, then cloudy, then rain, etc.

    Good afternoon all
Had some light rain this afternoon, probably more to come. Haven't done any gardening for a few days. Been making a few greetings cards.

Rained this morning, after a monstrous storm the day before. Standing water everywhere and a regular moat around the raised beds. Luckily, this is Texas and the sun and wind will dry us out in a day or two. Who knew a person would need waders to garden in Texas?
Back to recreational cooking. Pulled some of last years vegetables out of the freezer and made some smoked chicken vegetable soup. As soon as things dry out, I'll put another chicken on the grill to smoke. Maybe in June?

We've been having some cool weather, too. We had some rain yesterday and maybe some rain Friday night into Saturday morning but sunny and 67 on Sunday. Rain on some other days after Sunday. It's still spring around here. It was 55 degrees today. dooley
