Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 18°C and foggy.
Off to work for another day in the heat. Yesterday we were trimming shrubs and today we will finish with that and do some watering.
There's rain in the forecast Friday.

Not been doing much just pottering around doing odd jobs. Started picking the fruit and looking after the wallflower seedlings make sure that they don't dry out with the heat.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 17°C and clear. There is a heat warning in effect today and tomorrow for my area.
Off to work early, got to get the day started before the heat hits.

Happy 4th of July to all of us here in the States. It promises to be warm here in Texas and sunny. I'll pick beans, get some barbecued ribs going, and commune with the cats.

 

Good afternoon all. We have finally had some dry weather. Of course the plants aren't used to the sunshine & everybody is wilting!

Watered the community garden plot today.

I've been gone for 3 days and now I'm home! It really is true that theres no place like home!
I'm feeling 'off' today so I took the day off work. Hopefully after a nap I'll feel good enough to get the grass cut.

Another day of weeding and watering, and some hedge trimming as well. The Bridal Wreath Spireas all need a trimming today!

Good Wednesday evening all, been cloudy and more pleasant day.
Last night was up with Barley he had the diarrhoea again, but he's a lot better now.
Going to give him rice and fish for a few days then get him back on his own food. He keeps getting it but there's a virus going around and he's alright otherwise. At the moment i won't take him to the vets, just see how he gets on.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 14°C and sunny. There is a lovely breeze as well, that keeps the mosquitoes away.
It's been a busy few days, but I've finally gotten a chance to spend some quality time in my garden. The back beds have been weeded and deadheaded, and will get a drink today.
I have a few things to pot up, and a few things that need moving outside, and lots to water today.
But first, the laundry needs finishing and some potatoe salad made.

Off to work, I'm sure it will be a day of watering. I've got a chicken in the crockpot and dinner will be ready when I get home.

Now it's sunny and hot. Did some more fruit picking and the freezers are getting full, such a lot more to pick have to make some jam to make room for the rest.

We had a bit of rain overnight, not sure if we had a thunderstorm ... I didn't hear a thing!
