The Good Day All Thread

It's moving day! No, we aren't leaving the farm (my husband says you couldn't get me off this place with a stick of dynamite). We are moving work tables and saws and tools back into his new workshop. Thank heavens for the dolly--we can strap heavy stuff like the table saw to the dolly and haul it in. Husband is arranging everything for maximum efficiency, and I'm trying to get the pegboard set up for hanging small hand tools.
We are both going to be sore but happy tonight!

 

Good Monday morning all. Always seems so strange saying that ... there really isn't anything good about Mondays lol
Off to work, I'm sure it will be a dragging hoses kinda day again today.

I dont know how you do it down in Texas ... we only get 100°+ weather a handful of times a year and I hate it! I can't imagine how people function during a Texas summer!
Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 18°C and humid.
Off to another day of dragging hoses around, which is getting really OLD. I could be getting so much work done it I wasn't watering constantly!
At least its not 100°

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 16°C and dark. I'm up extra early today, have lots to do and I need an early start!
I'm really noticing the days getting shorter now. Another 3.5-4 months and we will have snow on the ground again!
I'm going to keep the thought of snow in my mind while I'm sweating in the 29°C expected today.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 15°C and sunny. Still no rain in our forecast for the next 2 weeks .
I have the day off today, and DD and I are heading to the big city. We are going to an appointment and then hitting the mall for back to school shopping, Costco, and Michaels.
Then to the rink for a lesson. It's going to be a busy day!

Good morning all, and I sincerely hope that includes Netty. She hasn't posted for three days, and I'm wishing that she is just busy and that nothing bad has happened. I really miss her posts here.
I started rearranging the potting area in the barn with the help of the cats. Timi thinks that the gallon pots are fun things to roll around, and Buddy was lounging on the shelf where I keep tools. So helpful!

 

Hello all, I watered and weeded and harvested until it got too hot and then we had a really good rain this afternoon, about time too.

 

Here I am!
It's been a busy few days, but it's back to the regular today.
Currently 14°C and overcast. I am happy to report that we had rain this weekend, lots of wonderful rain!
I'm off to work, where I won't be dragging hoses today, what an awesome change that will be!
Maybe I'll be able to get caught up in some other things.

Whew, it's such a relief to see Netty posting! And I congratulate her on the rain. We are hot and dry, but hey, it's August in Texas.

I'm still half asleep this morning, but I'm heading out in the dark for a dog walk before work. We don't go too far in the dark, but I've gotta get the garbage put out.
Then it's off to work.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 16°C and overcast. I heard thunder but we never did get any rain. North of us they had a severe rain storm and flooding. Wish there was a happy medium. Off to work, it's my early day today, so we'll be heading to the rink this afternoon.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 9°C and windy. It feels so cold after yesterdays heat, so I've got pants on today - first time all summer!
I have packed shorts for this afternoon, but the high is only to reach 21°C.
