The Good Day All Thread

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -13°C and sunny. It has been slowly getting a little less cold all week and so my dog walks have been getting a little longer.
Today I'm hoping that my mechanic can squeeze me in for an oil change, and I also want to pick up a few things at the grocery store.
Other than that, it should be a relaxing day.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -11°C and sunny. There is a north wind today so it actually feels a lot colder than yesterday.
Got my oil change and items at the store yesterday. I also canned up some beef stew for my pantry, and did some more laundry. It was so nice to have been able to stay home for a few days and get some things done here!
Yesterday I bought a Netflix card and we are having our own little trial. Hubby is technically challenged so it should be interesting to say the least!

Yes! Today highs are going up to +1°C! I'm sure winter is far from over, but I'll take it!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -10°C and sunny.
It's errand and shopping day today! I hope to get it done early so that I can come home and enjoy the afternoon - it's going up to 1°C today (which it didn't reach yesterday) and so it's a good day to catch up on some vitamin D.

We have wind today. I won't say how strong it is, but our wind chime is crying for help. Coming home from the grocery I saw a herd of cattle go by, and they weren't walking. One of the hens has laid the same egg three times, and a semi truck went down the road, sideways.
I think I'll make some beef stew with mushrooms and onions, break out a hearty claret, and celebrate the arrival of spring, which just blew by!

Good Friday morning all. Currently 0°C and very windy. We had some rain/wet snow overnight. Just enough to make the road slippery.
I'm off to Dads this morning. My sister has the day off work and we are hoping to get a lot done there today. I'll be painting the bathroom.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -8°C and light snow is falling.
I got the bathroom painted yesterday and it looks great! Today we are heading down again for some more cleaning and sorting. We can see the end is in sight.
I look forward to not having to drive an hour ++ every day.

• Chilly and overcast today, so my outside work has been postponed. I did some house cleaning and made Foccacia bread crumbs to put in the freezer for later use in breading pork chops and chicken. Just diddling around, doing small jobs and looking forward to getting out tomorrow, when the temps are supposed to be in the 70's.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -9°C and sunny.
Well, I've decided to stay home today, and clean my own house for a change. When I got dressed this morning I couldn't find a clean pair of pants to wear! The laundry pile is huge, and so is the list of things to do around the house. Dads house can wait a day or two while I get caught up in my own house!

I have many hidden talents MG! I also know how to shingle a roof, tune up a small engine, and weld!

Good Monday morning all. Currently -12°C with a north wind making it feel more like -20°C. I bundled up and too Sargent for a long walk - he needed to burn off some energy.
Now I am having a cup of tea and he is sleeping in front of the woodstove.
Lots of cleaning to do today, and I'm still putting things away that I have brought home from Dads. One more load from there and I should be done.
Waiting for a big announcement our Premier is making today regarding the loosening of the lockdown. Fingers crossed that my area will be allowed to open the rinks again

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -11°C and cloudy.
Off to Dads today, to remove the pile of donations and deliver them. This is one of the final loads that we are taking out and now we will be able to do a thorough cleaning.
Our Premiere announced a 'reopening the economy' plan yesterday, but the details are as clear as mud. All I know is that my area will be out of the 'stay at home' order on the 16th, but still have no idea what is allowed to open. Still keeping my fingers crossed for the rinks to open

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -14°C and sunny. I had a lovely walk with the dog and now its time for a cup of tea!
Today I am heading over to see my grandson for his birthday. It's not every day that a boy turns 3!
Also got some good news yesterday ... my daughter will be able to get back on the ice next week! She hasn't been able to skate since December 23rd so this is great news!
